Ondine drew her greatsword and golden flames surrounded the entire sword as scorching heat enveloped the entire place. Screams echoed as people started to flee the scene as quickly as possible. Even Jardel was partially affected and had to be protected by the barrier created by Elder Zinglin.

"So be it," Kaia said in a relaxed manner, "I hope you're prepared for what's going to happen next if you keep this up."

She stopped talking soon after, while her face had a peaceful expression, as if nothing in this world could affect her or whoever was being protected by the barrier she created.

"Are you confident in that barrier?" Elder Waldir slammed his fists together, creating shock waves that threatened to open fissures even in the sky, and spoke full of arrogance. She then remembered the words of that ethereal being...

'The entire Felix Clan will be destroyed because of you...'

But she didn't have time to care about that. She just laughed at herself for having been greedy, and now she was in such a low and pitiful state. She felt like she had aged ten years in a few minutes. Was there any hope of being able to rise again and get revenge? Heh, that kind of foolish thinking was something far too unrealistic. There wasn't something so miraculous as to be able to do something like that, and even if somehow it could happen, why the hell would something like that fall into her hands- she, who had now become someone without power?
