A Descendant To being DROPPED 9 Chapter 10 - I want to Act Tough!

After resting for a bit, I left my room then went into Loindri's room because he apparently needed me for something.

When entering the room, I saw 3 persons , obviously Loindri, then there was Arfin and the last person looked quite old.

"Ah there you are, Grimson, I would like to introduce to you a friend of mine who also happens to be a teacher of the greatest magic academy in the empire, his name is Muyen" My guts have bad feeling like i'll have to go to this magic academy.

"Nice to meet you, Senior Muyen, I am Grimson EtherBlood" better introduce myself and not directly question Loindri or it might offend this guy and if I really have to go to his school i'll be dead.

"Grimson, you might be wondering why Muyen is here right? Well, I'll tell you, your talent in magic is one of the best in the world if not the best, right now if you stay with us, you'll be nothing more than an unpolished gem, so the best way to make use of your talent is going to this academy"

After Loindri finished his speech, Arfin quickly followed up.

"But that doesn't mean that you'll have to give up weapon training, in the academy there is also weapon classes and like Loindri say, you have huge talent and staying here is just a waste of that talent" They are right, but that will also make harder for me to train my skills but I guess I have no choice so I just nodded to say that I understood what they were saying, Muyen looking satisfied at my answer then asked me

"Grimson, do you want to directly enter with a recommandation or want to pass the test like other students." After thinking for a bit I decided on an answer.

"I want to pass the test like other students." They seemed to be surprised at my answer before asking me a simple question "Why?".

"Because if I were to pass with a recommandation, people might think of me as someone that was just lucky to get a recommandation with no real skill." I'm no pushover after all but Muyen hearing my answer just shook his head and told me that

"The people entering with the recommandation are considered the "Cream of the crop" "

"Oh . . then just give me a recommandation, sign me up for every classes and when does school starts?"

"It starts in 2 Months, if you sign up for every class you'll have nearly 0 free time so are you sure?"

"Yes, I am sure, I want to learn everything" I mean all the teachers are giving me free skills who in their right mind would say no to those nice gifts. After returning to my room, I quickly decided on what to do for the 2 Months. In the end, I just decided to hunt for monsters until I had enough for the EE-Rank Body/Magic Training which will let me train up to 700 stat and give me 750.000 EXP but i'll need atleast 50.000 World Coins for that. The next day I then started killing a lot of monsters until seeing that I wouldn't make it, I started giving up until receiving a notification.

After asking about the Monster Function, I learned that by killing monster, I would get some kind of remnant that would be stored in the System, when I have enough remnant of the same monster it'll make a monster that I can summon, I can even extract skills from the Monsters that I own and if I'm lucky enough I can even get the whole monster just by killing one of them. I was so FUCKING determined after hearing this.

2 Months Later,

I fucking did it, I worked my ass off but I did it some days before the end of the limit and finally got the Monster Function and the 3 Luck Points, even though I finished my quest I still decided to continue hunting to get remnant and more money at the end I reached 65.000 World coins then I used 50000 to get my Training Method.

But I can't try them because I'll be in a carriage for some days until I reach the capital of the city and find the [Royal Mage Academy], which is owned by the [Palace] and considered to be the best academy.

While searching for the Academy, I accidently bumped into someone, so I just had to say

"Sorry miss", Then I heard a nervous voice answering me "I-it was m-my fault", at first from the voice and the appearance I thought it was a girl until I saw a man walking toward us saying.

"Oh, there you are Little Bro" oh so that was a boy . . . awkward, I just decided to excuse myself once more before asking where was the Academy.

After reaching the Academy, I saw a huge group of people standing near the gates, after asking someone, apparently the day the classes started was also the day of the test, Huh . . Recommended people really have a lot of advantages, even starting school before others . . Wait what am I saying, starting school early is the worst!

After thinking of that, I decided to do the Test for fun so I could know how strong was the people that could enter the academy and because the disguise were authorized.

Before people could enter they needed to have their levels examined, after seeing the levels of some people, I decided to level up because Level 5 was the bare requirement to enter and this allowed me to know that if I wanted to continue being the fake [Hero] I needed to upgrade a bit. After seeing a bit more, I saw that the highest level seen was 10, considering the shocked look of the people when the level was shown , I knew that this was really high talent probably just below the level of Recommended people, I decided to go for level [15] because I should be even higher than those people. Reason I was so sure I could reach level 15 is because leveling up become easier when you near your prime and now the EXP required to level up from 5 to 6 was 1000 and it would only go up by 1.5x everytime I leveled up and the reason it cost so much before was because I was a newborn and the EXP was also used to make my body not explode from the strength of the level up.

Huh . . Fuck, is there a way for me to reach Level 15 before it's my turn?
