@Griffith5 He is definitely growing slower than the others at first , and his ability looks bad , but the slow growing is due to the fact that the mc wasn't part of a clan or something , he was just a poor kid , it makes no sense if he becomes stronger than the clans members , and his ability looks bad because the mc thought so , and the story is from his prospective , he will learn how wrong he is tho . it would be a shame if you give up on the story , i think this one is just as good if not better than Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint !

I have seen more pathetic mc. Every single step author tries to nerf him. He has bad luck always. He got abnormally difficult quest from start. And finally gets shitty abilities.got divine aspect : to beccome someone slave, no power mentioned here , just be slave. Then awakened an ability: shadow control. Sounds cool , but his shadow have independent consciousness. Good luck controlling that. Above all he got a flaw. : You can't tell lies not that he can be silent when asked ,he is forced to tell truth. So you can imagine how he is going to survive, of course plot armor . Not with his shitty ability.
