"Ah."A scream drifted in from next door.

The cry was so sudden that Bai Xiaofei, who was now watching Walking Dead on the computer, got frightened, only to drop the glass of water he just fetched.

Bang. The cup was smashed, with water all over.

In no time did the anger overwhelm Bai Xiaofei.

"What's the problem with you. It's midnight. Don't cry like a ghost." The rented apartment was not soundproof as the plasterboard walls were only too thin. A thumping voice in the middle of night could have scared a ghost.

Bai Xiaofei did not bother to be nice. He wielded his fists and punched on the wall, "Next door, what the heck you are crying about at midnight? How could a man cry like a bitch. Give me a break. Screw you."

Well, there should be no cursing in response, which surprised Bai Xiaofei.

It was a six-storey apartment commonly seen in H City. It looked bright outside yet was dilapidated inside. The floor bricks along the corridors were totally messy and the passages were piled with deserted goods of different families. On either side of the handrails were stuck with advertising fliers. Quite some exterior walls were leaking and balding.

To make it worse, the apartment divided rooms by building up walls in order to accommodate more renters. And the walls were nothing more than thick plasterboard, covered with cheap latex paint. Over time, the paint cracked. When a David talked louder, an Amy next door could hear it clearly. When there was a conflict, they would knocked the wall and cursed each other.

The 23-year-old Bai Xiaofei rented a single room here that extended 10 square meters. His next-door neighbors were a young couple who made embarrassing noise of love.

Bai Xiaofei cursed them across the wall very often. But tonight was weird, as they gave no response and let it be.

Bai Xiaofei was somewhat surprised and left the abnormality aside when he turned his head to see the smashed cup. There was only one cup in this room. And it got broken before he could drank some hot water.

Bai Xiaofei gave a cold smile, measured his fruit knife and strode to open the door, "Fuck that, it's good timing. I was going to have you pay for my cup."

He was stunned on the spot. Outside the door was a female neighbor next door in her black lace underwear and with an attempt to jump to him. Her slim hands had become sharp claws. The gentle eyes were dilated several times, bloodshot. Veins were distributed all over the face. Inside the bloody mouth where there was an array of knife-like teeth, a tongue as long as a lizard sprang up towards Bai Xiaofei's face.

Bai Xiaofei could take one move only- the hand that still grabbed the handle slammed the door.

He leaned towards the door, heart beating like a drum- Illusion. Illusion. It must be an illusion. He might have been too absorbed in the Walking Dead. It was absolutely a nightmare.

However, the twisting tongue on the floor told Bai Xiaofei that it was not in a dream.

Bai Xiaofei, trembling, tried to reach out his foot to touch the tongue. Before that, the tongue seemed to have sensed it and sprang up crazily. It gave banging sounds as well as green liquid, trying to grab the foot of Bai Xiaofei.

This was definitely not a dream. In this world, there should be zombies like in Biohazard and Walking Dead.

Bai Xiaofei put back his foot with a start and kept close to the door, as if to make him safer.

"It's alright. It's alright," so thought himself. Even it was a zombie just like in the Walking Dead, there was no need to be afraid. It was clumsy and weak. As long as he shut the door, it could not possibly come in.

Bang. With a thump, the lower part of the wooden door was broken. A sharp claw smashed the door and entered the room.

Bai Xiaofei was almost stiffened. It was freaking wrong. It was not like zombie at all. Although the leaser did not use the security door made of iron with a view to saving money, the wooden couldn't be opened even with a chopper. However, the mutant zombie of the female neighbor just crashed the door with a claw.

Fuck me. The Nine Malicious Bone Claws could not make a match.

I'm dead for sure.

Bai Xiaofei stared at the back of the female zombie in black lace bras crawling from below his crotch. He felt like peeing now. "I have lived 23 years and will end like this?"

The zombie's head was twisting stiffly, as if searching for the living creature inside the room that could be swallowed. And there was a coarse cry like "Feed" in her throat.

Given the narrow space in the room, Bai Xiaofei could not possibly evade. If the zombie turned her head and saw him...

Well, it turned 180 degrees as if it had no cervical vertebra, and came towards Bai Xiaofei's crotch, revealing her sharp teeth and protruding her half tongue, the other half being pinched off by the door.

Bai Xiaofei now bit his lips. The intense pain and the mouthful blood stimulated his power and courage.

He yelled and clamped the waist of the zombie with his two legs, locking the rear part of it below the door. His left hand was now seizing the beautiful and gentle hair of the zombie. With some more strength, he pressed her head on the floor.

There was this knife- a fruit knife that was bought from a supermarket at the price of 14 Yuan and with a blade length of a few more than 10 centimeters, cutting straight into the rear neck of the zombie.

Bai Xiaofei stabbed and saw. Right. He was sawing the head. How sharp could a fruit knife go? It stopped as it met the cervical vertebra after it entered the skin. Bai Xiaofei dragged the knife, like wielding a saw. Inch by inch, he cut deeper and deeper in her neck.

The green liquid was pouring out from the zombie's neck like a fountain, which made Bai Xiaofei's hand slippery. The zombie seemed to know that it was not a good situation. She roared, moved her head crazily and tried desperately to get rid of Bai Xiaofei.

Except for the deformed head and claws of the female zombie as well as the background sound, the scene was quite erotic. He was now riding on her, with the woman revealing fine skins and twisting her body. The bras were half unbuckled owing to struggles. And the strap had come off, showing a half of the plump breast. But Bai Xiaofei knew it perfectly clearly that he was racing with death. The female neighbor became extremely powerful after it turned a zombie. For several times, he was almost knocked off by her from above the back. The head that was pressed on the ground turned itself for multiple times. The sharp knife-like teeth were clashing, hungry to take a bite at the arm.

His only advantage was that the rear part of the zombie got stuck below the door, which greatly restrained her power.

Then the fruit knife was stuck between the bones and could not go any further. Bai Xiaofei used all his strength. A dull groan and a gentle sound, the zombie was now motionless.

Her cervical vertebra were now broken. The obstructed nervus centralis would lead to the loss of ability to move.

But Bai Xiaofei did not stop. He gritted his teeth and continued to saw it, little by little, trying to cut off the entire head. He could still remember the plots from the Walking Dead that when a zombie was beheaded, its body might not be able to move, but its head was still alive. And he would take no risk at all.
