“Bye Ma!” I went out of the house and started running while I was holding a sandwich. As usual, I’m gonna be late again!

While running I eat my peanut butter sandwich which mama made.Waking up late, I was unable to eat anything. And what’s more annoying,is that there are no sign of any tricycle[i] around which causes me to run to school. Actually, our home and my school are just walking distance (now only a running distance) away from each other. But right now, since I’m gonna be late it felt that the distance is much further than usual!

“Oh, you’re going to be late again. Run faster.!”

“Yes, Kuya[ii]”

I shouted back at the guard, who I already acquainted due to being usually late and could only be on time once a week. I ran towards the third floor to get to our room and …

BINGO! Ma’am Castro is not here yet!

“Phew! I thought I'll be late again!” I almost collapsed in my chair due to tiredness, at the same time I burped since I just finished my sandwich.

“You’re late. Ma’am just left a while ago.”

Oh. I thought … I just wasted my effort! I didn't make any sound for five minutes, taking my time to rest. Running while eating is tiring you know! I feel like I’m gonna have an appendicitis due to this!

While I rest, our homeroom teacher still haven't  arrived. I asked Darwin, my seatmate, where is our advisor. His answer?

“I don’t know” Wow. Award-winning, right? So ill-tempered.

So, we just waited for her until our eyes become swollen[iii]. Someone suddenly came, so, we turned towards the door.

“SORRY MA’AM, I WOKE UP LATE!!” At the door, Tessa, my frontmate, said with a lowered head. Haha, I mean the person who sits in front of me.

“Ma’am isn’t here, don’t shout. You’re so noisy.” My classmates laughed when Gerald spoke, our class prince. I laughed as well since he is always tease Tessa. And when I say always … not just everyday. Every single hour.

Tessa then sits in the chair, in front of me, and I noticed something strange on here shoulder. Hmmm. That is... If I deduct correctly…

“Tessa, why are you late again?” I asked her, and she looked at me.

“Uhh… I-it is… I just woke-up late... Why?”

I peek at her uniform and confirmed that she is lying. Oh well, here we go again, really Tessa. She really doesn’t learn at all.

“You really didn’t wake-up late, right?” I began to talk, and she faced at me again.

“H-Ha? What are you saying? You… You really know this more clearly than me, eh!” this time, our other classmates watched us. Tsk, Tessa is really noisy.

“My guess is that you went to a dress shop and tried out some clothes in there, because you enjoyed your time, you didn’t realize that you’re already late.” I don’t really know why but I felt happy whenever I solve the truth that other people are trying to hide. I am being mean, right?

“Ha? Well, your guess is wrong! I really woked-up late! Think whatever you want to think.” She turned her back at me. She really doesn’t want to admit it. And she even snubbed me? Wow?

“Tessa, you dare to lie? You’re already caught” I said again to her, so she looked at me again. Now, it looks like… she’s really angry this time. Uh-oh.

Damn it, why I’m such a meddlesome person!

“Where’s your evidence? You’re just accusing me! I think you’re one, who is lying! Hahaha! Liar!” She really has a bad personality. She should be thankful that I am being lenient a while ago. Tsk. This is why she doesn’t have a lot of friends! She’s to hot tempered!

She wants an evidence? Then fine! She wants to be humiliated?

I stood up and picked up the ‘evidence’ from her uniform. I took the pink-colored fur on her shoulder. I know that it came from a dress. Well, that’s because we all know that she really like dresses.

“Here it is. Didn’t this come from the dress you just tried out?”

Her face suddenly reddened. See? It is really obvious that she is lying. Well, I, myself doesn’t know why I made this issue bigger. I just thought, why does she need to lie? She’s like an addict, eh.

“Okay, the show is over guys. Everything is done.” I disperse the bystanders. My classmates are whispering to each other, and promise, I wish they shouldn’t have done it because I still can hear them. They say that Tess is such a liar. Tsk. Well, it is the truth.

“ You’re really an annoying intruder, Raine.” Wow, she really did glared at me? Is it my fault that I was able to discover that she is lying? Should I hit her, eh.

“You’re really different, Raine Lazaro! Hahaha! A liar, eh.” Gerald also blurted out. Such an addict. And because of that, they are quarrelling again.

 That’s right, I am already a senior right now, fifteen years old. They say, that my eyes are really sharp since even how small a thing is, and when I say small I mean it is really really small, I can still see it immediately, just like a while ago. Except for that, everything else about me is normal. An Ordinary person. The typical high school girl that could be seen everywhere.

Ma’am Castro suddenly arrived, with an envelope at hand. I wonder what is it for? She didn’t enter the room immediately, instead she stayed at the door while humming. It seems like Ma’am is in a good mood, ah? She didn’t even realized that I am late. That’s great.

“Oh, right, where’s is Ms. Lazaro?”

“Ma’am!” I raised my hand. Uh-oh. I knew it, she knows that I am late. Haaay (Sigh). She might punished me by cleaning things up after school.

“The principal is looking for you.”

“Eh?” Huh? Wait? Did I accumulate a lot of tardiness that I need to be expelled? OMG! “Wh-Why?” I said while retracting my hand.

“Come on.”

I stood up immediately and followed Ma’am Castro. I don’t know why I am feeling nervous. This is not my first time being called in the Principal’s Office but it seems like something is gonna happened. Hay (Sigh). Maybe I’ll really get expelled. Well. It is because I am always late. I’ll get punished by Mama if it happened.

“Hmm…hmm…hmm…hmm…Hihihi! Yyyyyeeesss!”

I stepped back because I got shocked by Ma’am. Eh, how would I not be, she was just humming when she suddenly laughed aloud, and then she became silent afterwards. Is Ma’am Castro turning crazy?

“Ahaha! Sorry, Ms. Lazaro. Don’t mine me. Hmm…hmm…”

That’s what she is doing as we went down stairs. Maybe she just have some problems which is why she is acting this way. She then just suddenly stopped which cause me to looked what’s in front of us. I am currently walking behind Ma’am Castro and is unable to see who we just met.

“Oh, hi Ma’am Ramos. Hello, Ms. Relena.” I heard Ma’am greeted them. When I looked, it is really Abigail Relena, the running for valedictorian of out batch, and Ma’am Ramos, her adviser. I was about to greet them too when Ma’am Castro suddenly hold my right arm which made me stop. When I peek at Abigail and Ma’am Ramos, there faces looks so serious. What just happened?

“So… You’re the one who saw it.” Ma’am Ramos told Ma’am Castro.

“Hmm. Accidentally. But I didn’t realized that…” she replied before looking at Abigail then back at Ma’am Ramos “…you deduced wrongly.”

“Tsk. Let’s go Ms. Relena.” Then they just passed us.

Now, what was that? I didn’t get what they just talked about. What did Ma’am Castro saw? And why did Ma’am Ramos assume wrongly? It even looks like Abigail is involved.

“Let’s go too Ms. Lazaro.” Then she smiled at me.

“We continued walking. Just after few moments, we are already in front of the Principal’s Office. My heartbeat begun to beats loudly. Why do I feeling something bad will happen to me, once I entered this door. Waah! Did Ma’am Ramos also came here, and the reason they looked  depressed because something bad occurred? Wait I feel really nervous—

“W-whooaaa!”

“Ms. Lazaro, you’re blocking the door, just go in.”

Ma’am pushed me in the room, while I try to resist. Eh, it is because! I really feel bad about this! I feel really anxious!

“G-good morning, Sir!” I was shocked when Ma’am Castro suddenly bowed, which is why I looked at who entered the room through the side door. When I looked… it… it is… Mr. Salas! Our Principal! I also bowed my head since it is really the Principal.

“Ah. So you’re already here Ms. Lazaro. Okay, you two could just sit right there.” Then he walks towards the door in front of us. But he suddenly stopped and looked at us once again.

“Ms. Lazaro, why didn’t you bring your things with you?”

“Excuse me? My things?” I felt more worried.

“Didn’t Ma’am Castro informed you?”

I peek at Ma’am, who sits beside me. She just smiled at me while she pat my shoulder. I think I know where this conversation is going to. My gosh. Please don’t let it be. I don’t want to be expelled.

“Ms. Lazaro, you’re expelled from this school.”

“What?[iv]”
