Travis returned home at midnight with red eyes messy hairs and trembling body, he was trying his best to behave normal but all his facade were tearing away whenever the incident of few hours ago played in his mind.

Slowly nodding to all the guards on the way he finally entered the mansion.

The mansion was all silent , lights were dim like always and the hall was empty like always again but suddenly a hand slowly grabbed him from behind startling Travis .

"Are you this much afraid to lose in the video game that you decided not to return home before midnight" Siddharth laughed softly.

But before he could say anything more Travis hugged him tightly like his life was dependent on that hug, he hugged him with all his might.

Siddharth looked at his smile and his face and god knows why but he felt relieved looking at his face.

Both the best friend walked towards their respective room with a heart full of peace one was happy to see his best friend happy after ages and one was free from his dilemma.

He smiled looking at the picture of his sister and his brothers.

The moment he entered the big lonely mansion and looked at the dim lights his heart felt lonely again all the thoughts about his parents death, grandpa rushed into his mind again that dilleama scared his heart but just one hand over his shoulder took away all his worries.

That moment the only thing that crossed his mind was he have to save what is with him right now in the present, past always carry memories it may be good or bad but the only thing good about past is it is gone...it is gone forever.

The decision that Travis took at that time was maybe not the best decision of his life but it was no doubt his wisest decision.

A man who lived all his life avenging and protecting his loved ones took the decision to save himself to save his soul to save his family.

There are some times in our life where we have to decide between our past and present but all of us get struck in that past, the past that's gone forever but very few can take the courage to choose future to accept future with open arms and Travis was one of those very few people.

If he decided to take revenge on the De family clan he would have not done anything wrong but that would have surely destroyed another family and that would surely destroyed their bond but he decided to protect what was his.

Travis smiled at the picture on the wall and slept with a smile on his face, he was relieved he was happy....after ages.

Tara was getting restless at the middle of the night, same nightmares were haunting her when suddenly her phone rang breaking her sleep off, she jolted up from her bed and looked at her phone a rare smile spread on her face after all her savior was calling her.

She hurriedly picked up his call and happily chimed hello in her melodious voice.

"Missing me" Kian asked in a deep attractive voice.
