Leaving behind some money on the table, the man stood up and left. Bai Jie looked at Yang Tian inquisitively:

- Great, it's getting late. See you soon.

- Wait.

Bai Jie grabbed a bag and pulled out a hat to give to Yang Tian:

- You gave me a guardian bracelet last time so consider this a gift in return.

- There's no need. I gave you that not to get something in return.

Bai Jie angrily stomped her foot:

- If I tell you to take it then just take it. Why so many words?

As she said that Bai Jie tipped toe up to put the hat on Yang Tian's head to his surprise. After that she quickly kissed him on the cheek. Without waiting for Yang Tian to respond, Bai Jie blushed and took the bags inside her house.

Seeing her disappearing figure, Yang Tian couldn't help but chuckle before leaving. After a few steps, his figure vanished into the night.

Within minutes, Yang Tian appeared on top of a skyscraper. One could see the entire capital looking down from this building:

- Not bad. You want to choose this place as your final resting place?

From within the darkness, a man suddenly appeared. It was the person that drank wine with Yang Tian earlier. He lightly touched his face and it aged quite a bit. It was a kind face but with a dangerous undertone.

- I'm not here to fight you.

Yang Tian chuckled:

- Really? I seem to recall you acting against me earlier. Was my memory wrong?

- That was just me ascertaining some stuff.

- What stuff?

- Whether or not you truly are the Guardian.

The middle aged man stopped here and threw over a wine bottle. Yang Tian caught it and took a whiff:

- Is this an apology gift? Not bad.

- Of course, this is the wine that Lord Blood God found. It was left behind by that supreme being and had been kept for a thousand years. The flavor and aroma has reached its peak.

- Good. I'll accept this. You can go now.

The middle aged man shook his head:

- Lord Blood God asked me to tell you something.

Yang Tian had an uncaring expression as he downed the bottle of wine. With the concentration of spiritual qi inside, this wine could be considered a spirit wine. It's been a while before he tasted such a high grade wine.

The middle aged man continued:

Yang Tian help his hand up and white sword qi materialized. As the sword qi was about to shot out, Yang Tian suddenly stopped himself:

- No, with Liao Mei's personality, I'm certain that she'd want to get revenge herself. So I'll leave you to her.

He waved his hand and the sword qi disappeared. The middle aged man didn't know how close he was to the gates of the Underworld. He was speeding back to relay the news to the Blood God.

Yang Tian returned to the base of the Dark Society. He was speechless when he heard from Ye Wen Tian that the meeting wasn't over. Those four are already very old.
