Chapter 90: It's Good To Have Sparks Once In A While!

The season was approaching summer. The heat and humidity and the coolness of the lecture halls. The students were buoyed up by the air of long vacations approaching every second. It was just like summer for students.

Igarashi and I were working on an architecture assignment in the Komaba library. The report, which discussed various aspects of modern architectural design, was quite challenging. I started to correct Igarashi's report with a red pen. Igarashi's face turned paler and paler each time I did so.

In my previous world, we hardly talked at all in the university. It was a strange feeling. Fujikoki Ultra Land. It's a gruesome amusement park near Mt. Fuji. It's an amusement park with nothing but crazy fast roller coasters and crazy tall swings and stuff like that.
“Don't you want to see if I'm really scared…?”
She asks me in a sweet, somewhat provocative voice. I can't help but be taken aback. What does this mean?
“You have a car, don't you, Tokiwa?”
“Yes, I do.”
“I've never been to that amusement park. What about you, Tokiwa?
“I've never been.”
I've never been to the one in my previous world either. I've been to the Sea of Trees in Fuji with a guy and let him swing on the swings. That time was tough…and I don't have any good memories of Mt. Fuji. I might have to overwrite this one.
I heard from a friend that it's possible to go there on a day trip.
“I see. That's great. Shall we go there?”

“Okay. You should be in on it too! Fufu. This is getting interesting in more ways than one.”
I don't know what it is, but it has been decided that I will be asked to participate in some kind of volunteer activity that Ayashiro has planned. And the word “grant” makes me very nervous. This sounds like a serious event. I'll have to brace myself. After all, a bombastic girl named Igarashi will be participating. I thought to myself, “I should be as prepared as possible.”

Oh no! They're doing something like a normal romantic comedy!
I think Season 4 will settle into a form that alternates between summer-like playful events and serious ones.
Serial events will focus on serious circle activities.
I'm also looking forward to finally getting around to writing a night pool-ish one!
