“What you're doing now is a criminal offense. If I call the police, you'll end up like your daughter and get thrown behind bars,” Luo Ying said while observing Chen Jing's reaction.

Chen Jing's legs went weak. Su Ran hadn't mentioned this when she had recruited her. Su Ran had only asked her to carry out certain tasks and promised to take care of everything else.

Luo Ying looked at the weary Chen Jing and felt a pang of sympathy.
