Portia squirmed as Cyber Husky slammed her towards Ursun; her fangs quickly clacked against each other as she was pulled out of her nest. Tendrils of black smoke started to billow from her brown body and yellow legs. She seemed to be scorched by the sun as more cracks appeared in her golden rock salt abdomen before it finally caved in.
The Spider Queen's abdomen, where Euophrys was hiding cracked like an egg. Emerging from the broken shell was the full body of the Spider King - a head that belonged to a golden tarantula covered in orange fur, a body belonging to that of a bulky human warrior, and a cut-short lower body that has eight tiny spider legs. It was a funny portrait to look at if not for the havoc that had followed.
"You scums! How dare you hurt my beloved queen and disturb our peace! My dear children and soldiers, eat these intruders!" At the hiss of the Spider King, clusters of tarantulas rushed out of the dungeon, each one varying in sizes. Meanwhile, the Spider Queen was in a critical state. Her HP decreased at a visible rate as she received the attacks of the agitated Ursun, the eight players, and what seemed to be an effect of the sunlight towards her skin.
Euophrys kept on spitting venomous bolts of webs as he retreated his way back towards the dungeon, leaving his queen behind. However, he immediately found himself blocked by two personas - Udil and Cyber Husky!

Udil's flamberge danced as he gracefully slashed the surrounding spiderlings that were trying to latch on him while cutting off the Spider King's path of retreat.
Meanwhile, two mechanical spiders attached themselves to the humanoid body of Euophrys, who seemed to be incapable of making melee attacks. As a consequence, the monster's attention was in shambles as he fended off his attackers.
"We'll hold Euophrys! Quickly burst down the Spider Queen!" Cyber Husky immediately sent a message in the general chat.
"This one seemed to be unaffected by the change in environment." Al also sent a message regarding his observation. Unfortunately, all of his slashes were nimbly dodged by the humanoid spider.
Everyone's experience bars rose by chunks as they dealt with the multitude of spider mobs, except for the other three in WisDOOM, who had chosen to lock theirs.
It took another twenty minutes for the Spider Queen to fall, under the barrage of attacks that she had received. After all, there was still a massive level gap between her and the attackers. At her death, Papa Bear reached level seven, while the members of the Brotherhood of Shirtless Punks rose to level eight.
"All good now! There's only one left! You can now unlock your experience bars!" Al sent a message in their team chat.
With the aid of Udil's healing skills, the two were able to tank some of the undodgeable attacks from the spiderlings. They were also able to block Euophrys outside of the dungeon with their impeccable coordination with each other.
"No items?" Macca grumbled upon checking the lifeless body of Portia.
"Maybe that one has some loots to offer!" Porkchop snorted.
The two competing teams were fighting hand in hand as if they belonged to one group. However, a sense of rivalry could be seen between Papa Bear and the Savage Berserker.
"That spider is mine!" Papa Bear greedily placed his dibs on the Level 40, Euophrys. He had just learned a new skill upon previously reaching level five, and he's been itching to use it.
Zero Cardio!
Papa Bear's blue skin suddenly turned red as crimson steam hissed out of his pointed ears. The veins in his ripped biceps and calves bulged out as he dashed out of his position. His trail blazed in a fiery red aura as he smashed the spiderlings that were blocking his way towards the Spider King.
Wild Frenzy!
Porkchop did not lose out as he activated his berserk skill. The pair of axes in his hands glowed in red as his movement speed increased. He immediately caught up with the charging Papa Bear.
"Find your own target, you stupid boar!" Papa Bear cursed.
"I'm the one who lured that spider here. Stay away from my prey!" Porkchop bickered.
Euophrys' status as the dungeon's boss seemed to be a joke in front of WisDOOM and the Brotherhood of Shirtless Punks as they casually chatted with each other while grinding the monster's HP and the surrounding mobs.
"Why are you named as Shirtless Punks?" Macca asked Karrie while shooting his arrows.
"Haha. It's our gang's name in real life. Unfortunately, our boss is not here. She'll be able to give you a better explanation." Karrie answered while conjuring gusts of winds that swallowed the cluster of spiderlings.

"She?!" Macca's white-skinned goblin face blushed. He thought that he had misheard Karrie.
"Yup. A she." Karrie grinned with an I-know-what-you're-thinking smile.
"I thought that it's a brotherhood of shi-shirtless..." Macca stuttered.
"I get what you mean. Although Bisca is a female, we still consider her as our brother. After all, she's the founder of this brotherhood. If you're finding it hard to imagine her character as shirtless, you'll be more surprised once you saw her. Haha!" Karrie shook her head with amusement.
Meanwhile, the two Savage Assassins, SwitchFoot and TicTab quietly did their share as they kept on slashing the surrounding spiderlings, and sent a skill or two to Euophrys from time to time.
"So, you're power leveling, right? For the coming Rookie Challenge?" Cyber Husky suddenly disturbed the momentary silence between him and Udil.
Al shot a glance at the agile humanoid grey wolf, who moved with finesse as he dodged the venomous spits of the Spider King. "Yup, we're catching up with one of our members, who's already in the Bronze Rank. How about you?"
"Same. Our leader has already reached Level 15 and currently tries to break through the Silver Rank. She had just started yesterday, and it's only our first day for the four of us. So, we've got a lot of catching up to do." Cyber Husky's tone was professional when he gave his answer.
"She?!" Al blushed too. However, he immediately shrugged it off as the Spider King almost got him. "Oh, I'm sure that all of you in your group are veteran gamers. So, what made you play War Grounds?" Al immediately changed the topic.
"Yup. We only started to play War Grounds, due to its advertisement for the coming Rookie Challenge. Aside from the prize money, I won't deny that this promising game's features had captured my interest too. I like it better compared to the other existing games that my brothers and I have played. Whoever made this game is a genius." The grey wolf chuckled as he slashed his metallic claws toward the exposed back body of the Spider King.
The grinding continued for another hour before the Spider King finally fell under the hands of WisDOOM. Cyber Husky and the rest of the Brotherhood of Shirtless Punks kept their word, allowing Udil and his team to win the match.
Everyone's level immediately increased at the death of Euophrys.
"You're an interesting man, Udil. We'll see each other in a better stage from here on." Cyber Husky offered a handshake before he and the rest of his gang disappeared from the map.
