Indigo was used for the back end of the pen, the part that resembles the handle of a dagger.

And on the outside of the transparent glass, there were words written in gold. Since Ekaterina could not read nor write Astra, she only told Rev that the dagger scabbard she was referring to was decorated with what looked like letters, and he chose words that were often used for this kind of decoration.
