VR World of Cultivation 34 Breaking the Seal

Roxie looked sinister piercing the body of her clone looking at its lifeless eyes as it fell to the ground. I'mcold was catching her breath after losing half her health fighting the clone. She looked towards were Raph was fighting the boss. "Alright, he needs our help to finish off the boss."

"There is something wrong with his aura it's like something is holding him down." Roxie said.

"All I know is that I don't like something about him is all." Im'cold said advancing towards Raph. Roxie soon followed behind her keeping an eye on the boss something was off she could feel it in her bones. Roxie ran towards the boss slashing at its weapons disrupting his rhythm. Raph who was not looking too hot, he jumped back looking for a good place to catch his breath. The boss had barely lost five percent of his health it would take everyone to bring him down. The good thing was that he was much easier to deal with than the other bosses he had fought in the siege.

Roxie kept a close eye on the boss there was something off about him something she couldn't figure out. With I'mcold providing CC it wasn't too hard maintain control over the boss. Roxie noticed something on the boss's arm it seemed looked like a seal! What type of seal was that? "Raph can you try and hold down the boss's left arm for a second I need to get a good look at it."

Raph nodded chaining some attacks then grappled the left arm, he had grabbed it holding the boss back with the rest of his strength. Roxie got a quick look at it then looked pissed when she noticed the seal on his arm. "We need to get that seal off him, do you guys have anything to get rid of it?"

"Nothing here," Raph said.

"Me either." I'mcold replied.

"Alright there is another way to break seals we need to inject spirit into it until it explodes. The stronger the seal is the more spirit we will need to use." Roxie explained.

"Why would we do that wouldn't it just be easier to kill him?"I'mcold asked.

"There is something off with that seal I know it, I've seen something like that before branding demons to do unspeakable things. Can't you guys feel it too that something is wrong with the Demon Lord's spirit?" Roxie asked.

They both nodded the feeling was indeed sinister something was seriously off about spirit the Demon lord was emanating. Imcold got closer to the boss staying in close combat with him. She had the most spirit so when she would get a chance she could drop a large charge of spirit on the seal. Roxie and Raph kept the boss busy trying to hinder his movements while I'mcold charged an impressive amount of energy into her hand. Once again Roxie and Raph managed to hold down the boss. I'mcold jumped in discharging a high amount of spirit into the Demon's seal.

The seal began to waver expanding then contracting once again a few small cracks could be seen. It would take much more spirit to break it. The Demon King grew fiercer knocking the group back, he was angry then began to defend with creating some distance. He then began to push energy into the seal repairing it. Roxie reacted the fastest jumping towards the Demon King taking a bit of damage then drove her spirit to damage the seal.

Both of their energies crashed into reach other exploding Roxie and the Demon flew into the air in different direction. "Don't let him repair it." She yelled as she smashed into the floor a few feet away from them. I'mcold fired some talismans to slow down the boss, she used her talismans to slow the opponents movement speed by twenty-five percent. Then readied her spirit once again drawing energy into her finger tips focusing more direct than she had before.

Raph managed to draw the boss's attention on him for a few seconds then jumped behind him throwing a . The attack sent him flying into I'mcold whom directed her attack onto the seal once again. A rippling clash of energy appeared over the seal one more expanding and cracking the seal excessively. A large amount of dark energy leaked from the seal suffocating I'mcold, then her aura poured forth protecting her. Her demonic aura seemed to clash with whatever was coming out of the Demon Lord's arm.

The Demon lord himself looked like it was fighting itself I'mcold focused herself once again Pinpointing her spirit once more attacking the seal ripping it apart, the dark energy erupted like from his hand straight into the air. The sky was soon covered by the then a large pillar flame fell from the sky blocking them from leaving the area they were currently in.

When all the energy had left the Demon Lord he seemed to have woken up as if from a great sleep

After finally breaking free from his imprisonment the demon lord Lupine once again gains consciousness.

"Hello there, adventurers thank you for breaking me free of my prison." Lupine said stretching then looked up at the sky towards the black pillars they were still emitting a strong dark energy. "We should ready ourselves the avatar should be here soon to try and collect me we should be able to fight him off."

A silhouette appeared in the sky breaking through the barrier crashing onto the earth.
