Undying Phantasia 14 Lord Achils

''I am wondering where am I going?'' said Apolion with curiosity as he entered the village and the gates opened.He looked around with wonder and thought with questions about how they lived in this medieval planet setting different from humans in his world with a guard accompanying him.

Now that I think about it...This people look almost like humans, maybe, they have most of their genes similar to us? pondered Apolion.

The street was barely populated.The streets were made of old flat rocks and few grass were coming out.But the place they were was in the main gateway, they walked straight, on top of that, was smelly filled with rotten meat and unhygienic sewage. Apolion thought that :

/If this is medieval setting what if there were some Roman-style settings for powerful countries since Rome seemed more advanced than Medieval people? But, Thariel told me this is medieval-style..Well, even an angle can be wrong right? Since he lied to me after all..or maybe he forgot..who knows what those strantge guys do after all?./ ( Author's note: Me)

However, amidst the strange few disturbances there was picturesque houses which were relatively clean and polished.There were shops in the streets and some ordinary individuals selling fruits and vegetables which were very different from Earth such as a product similar to a banana but blue in colour. As the walked they went to a main street in the right side..where above you could see ropes around the houses and big buildings with castle-style blocks were present..shops were open but only quiet a few.The sky was caged in a wonder of fireworks of flags in the ropes of different colours as if there was a festival before.

Soon a castle could be seen of small magnitudes similar to a 5 story house.It had a clear path now with many other interlocking in a circle where the castle was located in the middle. He path was much more clear with flowers around them for a tasteful air. The place was definitely medieval yet much more advanced in architecture than the normal homes he saw.

''Enter here please'' said the guards coolly towards Apolion as calm as water with a signal with his hand pointing towards the door in the castle.

The castles door was wooden and looked like any other medieval doors depicted in stories and fictional worlds.There were two other guarding the door.

Well, let's see what awaits me. Apolion thought calmly as he thought he had powers above the common people in this world and everything would go fine, even if, they seemed to have powers since he could escape, somehow, if he is in danger.At least, in his mind.

Inside the room in the castle....

There was a desk in the middle. Far away from the door. There was a big window in the back giving light to the room and candles in each corner of the square room to destroy dark atmospheres as much as it can.

The room had a red carpet covering the place and there was a man in the desk.he looked robust and has a cloak around him.he had a medieval luxury clothing which made him look like a royal.A beard that only reached half of the neck; very imposing and plainly spiky.White hair and long reaching to the neck.Eyes that looked at him with authority and a penetrating blue in colour as the sky.A face strong and hard yet decayed like iron.

''Who is this person?'' asked Lord Achils in curious and authoritative gaze but always being cautious.

''This person is foreigner from a remote country or area we do not know or so he claims.He does not know out language so we bought him to you but we suspect he is a noble for his clothes.'' calmly explained one of the guards.

''The problem arises in dealing with him without making any big problem as we are not sure if he is gonna bring us trouble politically'' remarked the guard following what he said before with a troubled expression.

Lord Achils signaled the guards to go away.

And so, the guards vanished from the room instantly.

Apolion was left alone.

''You don't seem to understand our language neither the main language is it not?'' asked Lord Achils in a serious manner as if it was a crime.

''There is no point in discussing with you. Look'' remarked Lord Achils before signaling to the books and made gestures indicating to take those from his shelves.

They were books of history of and tradition that was left in the dust of this country.

Well he tells me to check the books out, I guess, I will check it probably to teach me how the country works.Through Apolion in his mind.

''Well we need to teach you language I will get someone to teach you how to speak'' Lord Achils made a firm decision.

Apolion clueless watches the books and also listens to the man's sayings without a way to learn what he was talking about.

Suddenly, Lord Achils told him by gestures and signals to sit in the sofa next to him.

Apolion looked at him once and nodded with agreement and sat on the sofa waiting for the next action or guidance but with impatience since he needed a place to rest.

''Wait here'' said Lord Achils with a sigh before going to the door and vanishing before signaling Apolion to stay.

''This might take longer than expected'' Apolion remarked loudly before relaxing on the sofa and waiting.You must have patience.

He waited in calmness and contemplation towards the skies out the windows.He

''Call her'' Lord Achils commanded to one his servants.

''Yes Mi lord" The male servant went out of the castle.

Lord Achils went outside of the castle in the process as well and waited in contemplation like Apolion but the only difference was..His face looked stressed.

/'The battle of the 'Phantom winter' is coming and the nations beside us are not as patient as it seems.''

However, there is something odd about that youngster. We border the forest of the Destroyed Wood forest .A forest infamous for the disappearance of many yet he came out alive.He either has some ability or the forest is in a strange state we don't know for sure.

Most importantly, I have to figure out whenever this youngster is from an enemy nation.Everything seems too suspicious.Besides, he does not know Engorian yet he traveled up to here without skills to communicate?

I have to find out first by teaching him our language and use help from that girl.

I put a protective shield and magic circle in case he does anything strange in the room I left him.it will allow me to detect anything strange.

In the end I can relax after a long day in this darkening skies.Although they look evil, they have a dark beauty indeed./

Thought Lord Achils as he waited in the outside of the castle while houses from the front watch him in tranquility.

Lord Achils: It seems that you understand my language after all?

Apolion: well yes, after all we are in another dimension where all stupidity might become real..

Lord Achils: Well true. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that you looked like some weirdo noble with those clothes...

Apolion: Wait..How?

Lord Achils: Well in the village not anyone can afford that luxury you wear.It's common but sad...

Apolion: Leaving it aside..I see that you put counter measures against me?

Lord Achils: Yes after all...you are a shady youngster from a shady land.

Apolion: *With a smirk* And you are an old bag with no life at all I bet your life is so sad you can make the king cry indefinetly!

Lord Achils: You shameless bastard you dare to be rude to your elders?!

Apolion : Look who is the hypocrite..and look at the double standards...you say I am shady..yet you now turn out to be an angel?!

Lord Maximus: Shut up! You two ! I have to find peace in my meditations to regain the power of light..*meditates in calmness in the sky's clouds*

Apolion: Wait..if you are trying to reach light..with that armour-

Lord Maximus: Who said you can't reach the light..being in the dark side with my dark armour?

In order to comprehend the light know the darkness.

Only when the darkness invades is when light is needed.

Our mere existence is to transmute the darkness into light....

Apolion and Lord Achils simultaneously: Ahhhh....now I understand.

Lord Achils: Well this place in the sky is kinda strange can we go back to the story? I am wondering what will master write...after the meditation.

We were all standing on a platform formed by clouds and a high palace similar to a celestial realm with towers going above of golden colours extending towards the space.We are close to a mountain where we can go down too.

Lord Maximus: Well I guess its time...say farewell to the readers...

Apolion and Lord Achils simultaneously with a loud shout: Good Bye readers!

Apolion: Also don't forget to ask us questions if you wanna know more about our feelings..if you care...that is...*Looks at you with puppy eyes*

Lord Maximus: Enough! *snaps finger*
