Everything around him was dark but it wasn’t enough to completely obscure his vision.

After scanning his surroundings, Xu Que could be sure that he was standing within a very spacious tomb.

He was surrounded by four solid walls, with a door on one side of the walls. Apart from this, there was nothing else around him.

Xu Que frowned. This wasn’t in the most desirable situation to find himself in.

He retrieved the maps of the Imperial Tombs and opened it.

He saw that there were many confusing lines all across the maps and fell deep in thought.

"Woosh!"

All of a sudden, Xu Que felt something hot within his robes as though something was struggling to get out. Heat and light was emanating out from beneath, shining through the layers of his clothes.

Xu Que paused before he reached his hand into his robes and pulled it out.

When he took it out, he realized that it was a piece of black jade tile with strange and complex inscriptions across. There was even a unicorn inscribed onto this tile and was emitting off a mysterious scent along with a powerful aura.

But this piece of jade tile…

Xu Que frowned, trying to recall when he had obtained this. He then realized that he acquired this while he was still out in the borderlands.

Before killing the members of the Blood River Sect, a strange old man had come to eat his delicious chicken wings. After quarreling with him, the old man finally gave him this piece of jade tile.

That old man’s cultivation level wasn’t low at all. In fact, he was so powerful that Xu Que couldn’t tell his level then. However, he was certain that it was more powerful than the Infant Transformation. That was why he only just scolded him and didn’t resort to fighting.

Right at this point, behind a door which led to complete darkness, came a loud sound which sounded like thousands of horses charging in this direction.

Xu Que jumped up in shock as he glared into the distance and held his ground. He conjured a Bone Freezing Flame within his palms in anticipation and waited.

All of a sudden, several shadows shot past the door. It was hard to see their form and it’s impossible to tell what their cultivation levels were.

An angry and irritable voice sounded in the distance.

"Damn it, you’re here again? Speak clearly now, what the hell do you want?"
