When Gillan first met Colin, he was a calm person. But for some reason, he changed recently. He was usually serious or irritable these days. He rarely saw him so warm and gentle.

As Gillian left, Colin took the warm sugar water and sat down next to Sophia. "Wait a minute. It's still a bit hot."

Sophia nodded gently. "Okay."

Sophia looked up at the man who held her in his arms. She never thought Colin could be so good to her.

He was being so kind, she thought she was dreaming. When she was in pain, warm hugs and emotional comfort were better than anything else.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Colin was slightly unhappy about this.

Sophia was speechless for a long time. After taking a bold look at Colin, she spoke pitifully, "I'm not feeling well now. Are you really going to blame me?"

"How did you get through it before?" She had been in Z Country for about three or four months. How did she get through it then?

"I filed for leave during the first two months. But this month, I've already asked for a 3-day leave to go to A Country. I decided not to ask for more leaves this month. I was thinking I could get through it."

"Hmm, it's nothing." Sophia quietly stuck out her tongue.

Colin caught her tiny action as he was reaching for the sugar water. His hand stopped in midair. Sophia was... so cute.

He brought the sugar water to her lips. "Try it. It might not be hot anymore."

Adjusting herself in his arms, Sophia took the cup and drank the sugar water.

Yes, it wasn't hot anymore. The temperature was just right. Soon, Sophia drank it all.

Colin took the empty cup, and helped Sophia lay down comfortably on the bed. "I'll warm the soup for you."

It was convenient to have a microwave in the lounge.

Looking at Colin's back, Sophia smiled happily with her hands on stomach.

She put away her smile quickly when Colin turned around. She didn't want Colin to laugh at her.

Sophia leaned herself on the headboard as Colin fed her the soup. She couldn't finish the soup because she had the sugar water earlier. Colin finished the rest, so it wouldn't go to waste.

After having the warm soup, Sophia fell into a deep sleep in the lounge. Colin went to work after assuring that she was asleep.

Outside, countless calls from the media were waiting for him. Wade had stopped all the calls while Colin was with Sophia in the lounge.
