Third Prince Elmer Character Profile

【Main Character, Servants, et.al.】

◆ Elmer LePrince de Almerti (→El)

Protagonist. Born as the Third Prince of Almerti Kingdom. Mother died during childbirth. His father only went to meet him once so he doesn’t recognize his face.

Due to not showing any emotions at all, he was mocked as the Doll Prince by a certain man during his childhood.

Because he suppressed his voice during his [Explosion], it created a big misunderstanding that he doesn’t have magical powers. He remained expressionless even into adulthood.

Pale white skin and silver hair. He can blend into a white background. Likes fluffy animals. Has no sense of direction. He can use a powerful magic that could turn liquids into ice.

◆ Matthias von Marquis West Vern

Elmer’s First Retainer. Second son of West Vern House known to manipulate fire. His combat prowess is said to exceed even someone from the royal family. Rarely ever fights seriously. Nicknamed “Knight of the Purple Blaze”. During his school days he was expected to be a promising magic and martial arts user in the future, but disappeared for a few years after graduation. It was believed that he was ill, however he was actually taking care of Elmer.

He is inexperienced in being a retainer, but gradually improved due to his natural skills, simultaneously, the troublesome side of El further honed his skills. His cooking is devastatingly bad.

・ Sora

El’s Shadow. Assistant of one of Matthias’ Shadows, “cleans” El’s surroundings. Magic is manipulating plants.

・ Kioran

Elmer’s manufactured dragon. Named by El properly. It is imprudent and somehow wasn’t able to speak in the beginning. Voice is high, similarly, pride is high. Often does things on its own convenience.

・ Edna

Diana’s (Elmer’s mother) former lady attendant. Showed aggressiveness during the Assassination Arc. A mixed blood with another race. Family background is not fortunate, but entered an aristocrat’s House as an adopted daughter.

【Royal Family and First Retainers】

◆ King

Elmer’s Father. He gave his eldest son an order to dispose of Elmer when he did not show signs of having magical power.

◆ Diana

Elmer’s mother who died of childbirth. The details of her roots are unknown. Known as the “Sun Princess” because of her free-spirited personality.

◇ Amalia

Former First Princess of Almerti Kingdom. Ricardo’s older sister. Due to a severe injury from the past, she leads a life in a wheelchair. Married to another country and already became a Queen.

◇ Myrna von Marquis South Tina

Crate’s older sister. Amalia’s First Retainer, and lives with her Master Amalia in another country. A person of few words, she constantly follows Amalia. Has an eye patch on her left eye.

◇ Ricardo LePrince de Almerti Casariel

Almerti Kingdom’s First Prince. He is a capable prince but a little timid and doesn’t have an interest to be the King at present. Matthias’ childhood friend. He is believed to be extremely fond of younger kids.

◇ Fernando von East Cartier

Ricardo’s First Retainer. Eldest son of the East Cartier House who can manipulate earth. A lot of people mistakes him to be older than his age because of his grown-up appearance. Because their ages are similar, he had built up both friendship and master-servant relationship with Ricardo.

◇ Sveri LePrince de Almerti Casariel

Almerti Kingdom’s Second Prince. He got acquainted with Elmer at the academy as an upperclassman. He takes after his father’s appearance the most among his brothers.

◇ Crate von Marquis South Tina

Sveri’s First Retainer. Eldest son of South Tina House who can manipulate the wind. The childhood friend who is on bad terms with Matthias.

◇ Tim LePrince de Almerti

Almerti Kingdom’s Fourth Prince. But since Elmer’s existence was hidden, he is considered to be the Third Prince. Tim himself doesn’t know he has an older brother. His fiancee is Shenryl, who is Matthias’ little sister.

◇ Princess Iris de Almerti

Almerti Kingdom’s Second Princess.

【West Vern House (+ Servants)】

… One of the Four Great Nobles. Red hair and Fire magic.  The family with the most excellent combat skills.

・Cristobal von West Vern

Head of the West Vern House. Matthias’ father. He is weak considering he’s the Head of the family, and is being dominated by his wife.

・Lucsher von West Vern

Matthias’ mother. She is away from her family staying in the Imperial Capital, she protects the West Vern House’s territory. She works as a designer. She has extreme feelings on anything related to fashion, and selects all of El’s clothes.

・Cashbar von Marquis West Vern

Eldest son of the West Vern House and the next Head of the family. Matthias’ elder brother. He greatly resembles his mother Luchsher’s appearance and personality. A beautiful person with strange tastes. He has a habit of cross-dressing.

・Shenryl von Marquis West Vern

Eldest daughter of West Vern House and Matthias’ little sister. Has extreme bro-con for Matthias, but doesn’t care about Cashbar at all. Her bright red hair is tied into pigtails. Jealous of El for stealing her big brother Matthias. Tim’s fiancee.

・Richard

Butler of the West Vern House. Leoneet’s father. Has no court rank at present.

・Shuri

Richard’s wife. Leoneet’s mother. The person in charge of taking care of the West Vern House’s children. Has a close relationship with Lucsher.

・Leoneet

Matthias’ foster sibling, in good terms with him. As of now, he is receiving training on how to be a proper butler, but has a somewhat childish personality. Deeply in love with Edna.

【Matthias’ Shadows】

・Ieden

Leader of Matthias’ Shadows. His name’s origin is the number ‘one’. Devoted to his missions. He picked up a child and raised him.

・Piett

One of Matthias’ Shadows. Also employed as a cook in the West Vern House.

【Others】

・Alois

The only Imperial Guard who went on a journey with Elmer in the Assassination Arc. He joined the Imperial Guards due to his admiration for Matthias. During a trip to the Knight Order, he became an older brother figure to El’s childhood when he played with him. Thanks to that, he earned Matthias’ resentment.

・Keirai

Alois’ boss.

・Chabo (Japanese Bantam)

A large bird in the Grade School Department. It is branded as an ominous bird. The royal family entrusted it to the academy. It seems to have the intellect to comprehend words. It’s emotionally attached to El. (El: Should I be frightened?)

・Saleel-sensei

El’s grade school homeroom teacher. Has a gentle personality.

・Rent

A close friend of El. Cheerful and considerate. His mother is a doctor in the Imperial Palace while his father is a member of Knight Order. Has one little sister. Aims to be a Knight. He is Matthias’ fan.

・Torca

Rent’s little sister. Aims to be a doctor similar to her mother.

・Shuu

A classmate of El in grade school. An aristocrat who doesn’t mind about social status, trusted by his peers.

・Risha Edinnu

First son and heir to Edinnu Firm. Matthias’ former classmate. Knows about El’s status as a prince.

・Chanter Edinnu

Second son of Edinnu Firm to whom El is indebted to (younger brother of next representative, Risha Edinnu). The most helpful dormitory boarder. Because their ages are close, he is on good terms with El.

・Aaron

Has a scary face that causes misfortune. Has been imprisoned five times for crimes even though he’s innocent. While working as a teacher, the principal helps him with his imprisonment cases. Restarted the academy with El.
