The pitiful lying figure

In a dark room of a castle, a single flickering flame was the only source of light. There was a man with long black hair looking at a glass ball and an approx 8 year old girl lying on the bed.

The eyes and head of the girl are covered in a black fog. Occasionally white lines flashes in between, but the fog still remains.

“How is she doing?” An eternal voice came from the glass ball.

“ It is none of your concern. “ Said the dark haired man.

“ *sigh* She... “

“ You know under what condition I recieved her, brother. She will live through this. Pay attention to your heaven. “

“I understand I made a mistake but you can not blame me completely. I did not know- “

“ Exactly. You knew nothing… Brother, let it flow. Once she passes through this, I will not be responsible for her.”

“Hah… I tried to give my blessed children a magnificent gift, and they did this to it. I guess, it is time to let it choose its own path.”

“Your blessed children better be cursed.”

“I-”

“Goodbye. I have things to do.”

The glass ball then stopped glowing. The dark haired man lifted his head and stared at the girl lying on the bed. His eyes showed various emotions. Pity, sadness, anger, and a fire of revenge could also be slightly seen in his eyes.

He got up from his chair and walked over to the girl. The sleeping girl’s head was still covered in black fog.

The man puts his hand upon the face of the girl, but fog swallows it.
In the quiet room with the only flickering candle, the pain in the eyes of man shines. In that dark room, a lonely standing figure and a pitiful small lying figure remain. The only sound in that dark dreadful night was the whisper. “You are abandoned too. “
