She took a bath, brushed her teeth, and cleaned herself from head to toe . She also washed away the alcohol stench on herself, changed into fresh, clean and comfortable clothing, and left .

As she stepped out of the hotel with her bag, she walked past a hair salon . Ji Nuan decided to enter and had her waist-length hair cut into a shoulder-length bob . When she stepped away from the hair salon, Ji Nuan ran her hand through her hair and recalled the words Feng Ling once told her .
