Xiang Han's expression was complicated and he felt it was truly difficult to explain what he had seen.

On the other hand, Shen Ze didn't have the patience. He directly picked up a paper cutter and pretended to play with it in his hands, “Get out if you're not saying anything.”

Xiang Han instinctively shrunk back. Towards Shen Ze's act of casually picking up a knife whenever there was a minor inconvenience, he was extremely unhappy and deliberately said, “Elder brother, be careful not to cut yourself.”

Xiang Han had just ‘finished' his homework and was lying on his bed, intending to read some manhua before going to sleep when he heard a knock on his door. He thought it was Zhu Jing Yi and quickly threw down his phone to open the door.

Seeing Shen Ze outside his door, he was stunned.

Shen Ze frowned and unhesitantly entered. He turned around and said, “Close the door.”

“Oh.” Xiang Han dawdled. He was afraid Shen Ze was here to settle accounts with him and couldn't help reminding his System, [Little Nine, you must stay vigilant and be prepared to take over the body at any time.]

However, from Shen Ze's perspective, his actions were obviously a mere attempt to cover up, which only served to worsen the matters. He never thought that his step brother was not only cunning, but even quite open with his sexual orientation. That too, at such a young age...Cough. It was amazing that he could still act like an obedient baby.

Shen Ze was expressionless as usual apart from a slightly hesitant tone which could not conceal its awkwardness, “Can you go to the supermarket in the neighbourhood and help me buy...cough, some underwear.”

Xiang Han, “...” He never expected this outcome.

Shen Ze coughed and shifted his gaze elsewhere, forcing himself to stay calm, “Previously, you went against me and I also threatened you back, so we're even. If you help me this time, I will also help you out in the future when you need it.”

“Okay.” Xiang Han felt as if he'd been struck by lightning out of the blue and gripped the money tightly as he left in a daze.

It was only when he had left the villa when he finally regained his senses and wondered, why should I help him?

Shen Ze silently sighed in relief and at the same time, was furious. When he thought of Xue Ling, a trace of disgust flashed in his eyes and he did not think twice before going to find Shen Zheng Duo.
