Albeit an elder, Jin Pingyue looked like in her thirties to forties due to her perfect skin care and cultivation practice. She did not respond Gu Tianba in a respectful manner, as if talking to a youth, and made him uncomfortable.  

Sulky, he turned his head to the other side and snorted, ignoring Qin Pingyue's remarks.

Qin Zongheng laughed secretively for Gu Tianba treated Jin Pingyue as an arrogant woman.

Clan Qin and Clan Gu needed to confront many mutual enemies. Though displeased with Gu Tianba, Qin Zongheng did not want Gu Tianba's offense to bring any trouble to Clan Gu, and planned to remind Gu Tianba.

However, Gu Yuetao stood up ahead of him and kneeled down to Jin Pingyue unexpectedly.

Both Qin Zongheng and Gu Tianba were stunned. Gu Tianba bellowed, "What are you doing? Stand up!"

Gu Yuetao neglected his grandpa's roar and greeted Jin Pingyue with reverence, "You ladyship, nice to meet you. I'm Gu Yuetao."

Jin Pingyue nodded with compliment.

Qin Zongheng was also surprised at Gu Yuetao's smartness, and realized that Clan Gu would be stronger if led by him in the future.

"How shameful! You disgrace me!" Gu Tianba' thunder-like growl embarrassed Gu Yuetao.

Qin Zongheng was eager to remind his grandpa but did not find a good chance in front of so many people, sweat standing on his forehead.

At first, Jin Pingyue found it unnecessary to bother herself due to Gu Tianba's impoliteness. But now, she could not hold on her temper any longer.

As Gu Tianba yelled, torrential vital energy rolled out from Jin Pingyue, nearly covered the skyline, and rushed towards him. 

Instantly, Gu Tianba felt that he was thrown into chill wind from warm breeze. The skin all over his body tightened, pores closing, numbness spreading to his scalp, and frigidity drilling in his bones as if thousands of vipers creeping on his spine.

Gu Tianba never encountered such a strong opponent in his entire life, as though putting his life under the scythe of Death.

An intense sense of crisis flapped his heart like rolling waves, and aghast took hold of him. He drew up all of his vital energy to block Jin Pingyue's oppression. Every trace of his vital energy was infused with fear controlled by her, and could not pool together, let alone ward off her repression.

His vital energy listened to his words in the past, but now it ran wildly in his body without any capability of protection or even counterattack.

"You…you…" Gu Tianba's copper face blushed, and astonishment filled in his wide-open eyes.

So was Gu Yuetao.

He sensed that Jin Pingyue was not a simple woman from Qin Zongheng's attitude towards her and her demeanor. Only until she demonstrated her power, did he realize how strong she was.

Instructed by Gu Tianba, Gu Yuetao was intimate with him and treated him as an unconquerable hero. Today, Gu Yuetao was shocked that his idol even did not have a chance to defend himself while facing Jin Pingyue. Now Gu Yuetao was suddenly enlightened , like a frog jumped out of its old pool.

Jin Pingyue did not embarrass Gu Tianba. As she quivered slightly, her energy pressure withdrew as quickly as clouds dispersed.
