Mount Longhu, the ancestral court of Taoism. There were too many secrets here—some people claimed this place was adjoined to the heavenly court and that one could achieve ascension here.

There were also others who say that it was a legendary city where one could find gods and even living ancient evolved beings.

After Mount Longhu was split open, the weapon emerged, enshrouded in white mist and carrying an energy that could cause all living beings to tremble. Several mushroom clouds flowed out from within and rushed towards the small Taoist temple.

Chu Feng and the other experts all shivered inwardly. What kind of great power was this?

They clearly knew how powerful those mushroom clouds were. These things could completely decimate a whole area and deprive it of all life. It was even more terrifying than a nuclear weapon.

It was commonly said that Buddha would deliver all living creatures from suffering but, at the moment, everyone felt that this peerlessly graceful lady was even more capable of purifying this world and converting everyone.

Golden lotuses bloomed midair as she pointed her finger and later formed three thousand golden characters. Dazzling ancient symbols, seemingly refined from metal, were formed one after another and encompassed Mount Longhu which was on the verge of falling apart.

The sounds of prayers and scriptures became increasingly divine as the symbols contracted. It was about to restrain that weapon.

The countless golden mushroom clouds shrunk and became almost ethereal, failing to explode as the lady raised her lotus-like hands. An exquisite and white finger pressed lightly onto the ancient weapon of Mount Longhu.

All things contrived were like dreams or illusions, as dewdrop or lightning and they should be regarded as such. [1]

At this moment, everyone felt things to be somewhat unreal.

"Run!"

Yellow Ox shouted. Even he was scared. No one knew what origins this woman possessed or how powerful she was. They only felt that she was absolutely unfathomable and that they needed to run as quickly as possible.

In truth, everyone had only glanced back during the process of running away. Now, no one dared to halt their steps at all as their rushed off in every direction.

No one knew the outcome of that battle as all of them fled.

Chu Feng drew Yellow Ox and the others into the Pristine Jade Bottle and ran three thousand kilometers in one go. He only stopped after reaching Jiangxi.

Moments later some other experts with six severed shackles caught up to them one after another.

"Many thanks to Brother Chu Feng!" The Mastiff King cupped his fist. He had transformed into a heroic-looking middle-aged man with long thick hair and spirited eyes.

But after taking a closer look, he was already spiritually exhausted. He had narrowly escaped death during this Mount Longhu excursion. It was simply too close.

Without Chu Feng, he would have surely died there.

"Mastiff King, you needn't be so polite. I'm indebted to your care in the past. This is the least I could do." Chu Feng laughed.

"I'm grateful beyond words." The giant golden roc landed and nodded towards Chu Feng.

"Our boss has risen to power in this battle and established his position." The clairvoyant Ouyang Qing sighed in admiration.

Not only him but also Ye Qingrou and the others were gasping in astonishment. Everyone was discussing him.

One battle to exceed gods!

At the same time, heavy snow began to fall on the ocean and had almost sealed the ocean surface in ice.

The sea was their home, hence all the marine race experts dropped everything they were doing to rush back as soon as they heard the news. They were anxious and even terrified inside.

The world was changing. This time, the changes in the ocean were more intense than on the continent. Various odd phenomenon were appearing.

One day later, a world-shaking news was heard—the ocean had become sealed in ice. All the marine regions had become a patch of white under the raging blizzard.

At the same time, both the East and the West began to see snowfall. It became bigger and bigger until the entire land was engulfed in a silvery cloak.

The people were intrigued by the new condition at first. This was especially true for the southerners who had never seen such heavy snow all year round. They were all astonished.

After one night, everyone's feeling of novelty vanished as the great snow blocked the roads and covered the world in white. The world was thrown into a terrifying atmosphere.

People were panicking. There was no longer a single place in the world with clear weather. It was a world of ice and snow everywhere.

"This isn't scientific. How can it snow worldwide!?" someone cried out in shock.

But this world had long since distanced itself from science. Since the great upheaval, many a logic had been overturned and various signs point towards the fact that this world was no longer something they could understand.

"A great annihilation must proceed an era of great prosperity. Has this day unexpectedly arrived!?"

The ice and snow, reaching the height of a man, had fully covered the mountains and rivers. Everyone everywhere was panicking.

Many people had already been frozen to death in the recent days.

Now, the marine race could no longer come to the continent as the ice and snow were highly unsuitable for them. The whole world was plunged into despair.

Tens of thousands of miles of the ocean were sealed in ice.

On the continent, the cold bit into the bones as the blizzards whistled.

Everything happened too suddenly!

"A glacial era has arrived!" someone lamented.

"This could be the most serious disaster in history!" Some biologists sighed.

By the time the snow covered the roofs of their houses, people had completely lost hope. It was unknown just how many people had died.
