They sat down on either side of the table. One large bowl of porridge sat on the table. Although the porridge looked white, a burnt flavor could still be tasted.

Su Yaya glared at him. “The porridge that my husband cooked for me contains his love in it. If I say it's delicious, then it's delicious!”

She really knew how to coax him! Every word was like a stream of warmth flowing into his heart. The furrow between his brows eased. As though making a promise, he told her, “I'll definitely cook it better next time!”

“Uh-huh,” she nodded. “I'll be waiting.”
