The Magic Academy's Romantic Circumstances Prologue

As the sun set, the familiar classroom’s ceiling was bathed in a deep orange hue.

In this space between day and night, the whole world becomes red. To me, this hour is very beautiful to recall.

Yes, normally that’s how it is. That is, apart from “something” emerging from the background to block my entire vision.

“Where are you looking?”

That low, sweet voice, which sent reverberations throughout my spine, brought me back to my senses.

A sharp-looking appearance had slipped into my view, dazzling as if he were like a blue-silver blade. Almost as if I were a target, my foolish looking-face was reflected in both of his intense golden pupils.

With that extraordinarily fair color and gently-sculpted nose, it was no wonder that my attention was drawn to that particular spot as the man pursed his lips.

So why are you approaching me at a super close, almost point-blank range?!

Suddenly, both of my wrists were caught – and my back was pinned onto the desk so that I could not move. It was almost as if my body was sewn to the surface. Moment by moment, your well-featured face is letting out a sigh as it now comes into view, shortening the distance between us.

“… um, senpai. Are you listening?”

“What is it?”

“Why, exactly, am I currently being pinned down by a senpai whose name I don’t even know? This isn’t happening, right?”
