Ye Sui was embraced in Chen Shu's bosom; nevertheless, she did not wake up. Because it was daybreak, the sun was a bit harsh, and it made her frown as she continued to drill in his arms.

Ye Sui, who was trying to avoid the sun, did not know what she had done. She thought that Chen Shu's clothes were blocking her as she was still rubbing on Chen Shu's body.

Che Shu's body was utterly taut, like a fully drawn bow. He did not even have the courage to push Ye Sui away.

When Ye Sui finally opened her eyes, she saw that she had rolled into Chen Shu's arms. Startled, she immediately got up from the bed.

Since Ye Sui was in a hurry, her feet were caught in the quilt. Unable to control her strength, she almost fell on Chen Shu. Fortunately, she held onto his body in time and did not fall down.

Ye Sui sat by the bed and apologized to Chen Shu embarrassedly. “Sorry. I didn't sleep properly.”

Maybe because he just got up, Chen Shu's voice was somewhat low compared to usual and was slightly hoarse. He took a long time before he finally said, “It's nothing.”

Since Ye Sui just awoke, her complexion was a bit red and flustered. Moreover, because of what happened just now, her hair and clothes were also a little messy.

“Are you sweating?” Ye Sui glanced at the weather outside the window. Autumn had already passed by half, so arguably, the temperature was not that high. Hence, why was Chen Shu sweating?

Chen Shu did not answer the question and quietly pulled the quilt to his side.

He gulped his saliva down and coughed gently. “You go out first. Don't bother me.”

Ye Sui looked at Chen Shu for a few seconds in doubt but didn't ask much. After getting out of bed, she turned and went out.

Chen Shu looked at Ye Sui's receding back, his eyes lingering at her figure. He did not relax until the door was closed.

Because the sun was so dazzling, Chen Shu blocked the harsh sunlight with his arm. After a second, he suddenly opened his mouth and scolded himself.

“Chen Shu, are you a beast!?”

Chen Shu, who claimed to be a beast, got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He stayed for more than half an hour before coming out.

When Chen Shu came out, he saw a messy quilt and cursed himself in his heart. He returned to the bathroom again and took another cold shower.

Since Ye Sui had no plans this morning, she made breakfast for both of them. Afterward, she looked at Chen Shu's room for a long time and felt a little strange.

Ye Sui was about to sit down to eat when Chu Shu's room's door finally opened.

“Chen Shu, I made breakfast for you. Do you want to eat?” Knowing that he never had breakfast at home, Ye Sui just invited him casually.

Chen Shu's footsteps were slightly sluggish; nevertheless, he sat down on the opposite side of Ye Sui.

When Chen Shu took a seat, Ye Sui frowned slightly, looked at him for a while, then asked, “Have you bathed?” Him not coming out for such an extended period, was he taking a bath?

What kind of bath would take you so long?

Chen Shu continued to hold his chopstick. “Mmm.”

Ye Sui shook her head. “After eating breakfast, do it again. Taking a bath on an empty stomach is not very good for your health. And remember to bathe in warm water. Without breakfast, blood sugar is low, causing a person to faint easily.”
