Gaining back his composure, Wang Lingyu's expression became fierce again as he shouted, "How dare you come to us after beating up our men! I bet you can't wait to die! Wang Tong, get all your men to kill this guy and feed him to the dogs!"

No one responded despite his repeated shouting. The yard was exceptionally quiet, like a barren land with no sign of life.

Wang Lingyu's face turned gradually pale, and his hands started to quiver.

Li Ye waited until he gave up shouting, then said with a gentle smile, "Everyone in this villa was punished to stand still, and they probably won't be able to move for quite a while. No one will come to your rescue however loud you shout."

"How can this be?" Wang Lingyu took a few steps back in panic and tripped over the stone step in the corridor. However stupid he was, at this moment, even he began to realize the gravity of the situation.

No longer paying attention to Wang Lingyu, Li Ye turned to Wang Hanshan and asked in all seriousness, "General Wang, are you now going to threaten me with your power and status in Pinglu army?"

Meeting Li Ye's cold eyes, Wang Lingyu got more terrified and kept crawling backwards. Even his voice turned into a piercing shriek. "No... Don't kill me, please! Please! Have mercy!!" screamed Wang Lingyu.

Li Ye was even more disgusted by Wang Lingyu's shameful reaction and said indifferently, "You are not worthy of dying in my hands."

He then looked at Wang Hanshan and laughed scornfully. He said, "But you're worthy enough."

Bam! The ground was shaken by the immense impact of his punch. A giant, deep pit appeared on the once smooth and flat floor, everything was blurred as dust flew in the air!
