The Doomed and Blessed, 13th young miss Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

As the days and weeks went by, I found out a very small amount, knowing full well that I was being ignored, as the primary knowledge that I’ve learnt so far. Sometimes, I was being that ignored that I didn’t get to do an interesting new pleasure of mine…

I never truly thought that there was something wrong about a woman’s breast and knew of their main objective. But…Being so small and hungry, made me want to squeeze for as much as I could get, in the literal sense.

So soft…

Nonetheless, I did get over the loss of my main substance quite quickly, because the nanny and maidservants weren’t very nice to me. In this time, I assumed because of the way they were treating me, that I was some kind of young miss that was born from a concubine. My ‘mother’, I continued to assume, probably hated me because I wasn’t male…Hell, probably my father too.

How awesome! I knew it! I knew that being in ancient times would be doom!

More weeks went by and I was able to start holding my head up on my own. Strangely, I began to sympathize greatly now with babies! I had tried to hold my head up earlier, but it really is damned true that a baby’s neck can’t support the head at first!

Trivial things like this kept me amused, as I tried to think of a plan, for when I started to crawl.

Yep! I was going to search this…I would like to say house, but it’s many little houses. On the few times I was taken outside, I was surprised!

It’s all real! Haha…

Perhaps I believed the books but didn’t care enough beyond that, but now, I see it all with my own eyes!

A house for the old lady, a house for the main wife, so on…

Crazy…So much land! Many homeless people could fit in all these houses!

So…I was sure that my so called ‘father’ was well off. Not that it mattered. It’s not like I can change my family, considering it was the same in my previous life as well.

What made me frustrated, was that I was in a small humble place and often missing a meal a day. Yet, I’m sure they could afford to look after me a hell of a lot better!

Heck! If ya can’t look after ya kids, don’t have em! I guess things like this happen here too…

As more weeks went by, I, at last, met my ‘mother’ for the first time. She was pretty, I suppose. Yet, her face was ugly when she was eyeing me. I really wanted to know what was wrong with my face, with the way she looked at me! I guess I looked like every other chubby baby out there, but I hadn’t known that I had a special, interesting birth mark on the side of my neck…

Since she was close to me, my ears picked up on a couple of words that she said, in which I knew. Hate and luck….

I didn’t cry, in fact, I gave a noise and somewhat smiled. To this, my ‘mother’s’ face took a turn to one of contemplation. But, my inner thoughts were dancing with ‘Omigod’s’ and ‘Yes!’.

Because I could hear!

Haha, now I don’t have to learn another language!

The lazy side of me was ecstatic with this news!

My ‘mother’, on the other hand, said some more words. Use and see…

In an attempt to roll my eyes, I got a bit dizzy, but inside, I was mockingly laughing at her.

Pfft, she wants to use me, uh? Try it!

Of course, I think this, unsure on how I would act upon these thoughts as of yet…

I knew about not abiding by ‘laws’ would be quite severe with their punishments back in the ancient times. I knew of kneeling at some hall, writing ‘lines’ and the possible beheading…

That’s why I never, ever wanted to come to a place such as this!

I could only scowl and suffer in silence, as my ‘mother’ disappeared.

I knew it would be a lot harder to do as I pleased here in this time, then on modern day Earth. I really missed it so much already!

Being quite a stubborn person, I still would try hard to do what I wanted to do…

I just gotta try and make it work and not die in the process…
