Xander hoped that it would not take long for Yera's anger to dampen. This heart-rending phase needed to end soon because otherwise, he would go crazy. He didn't want to end up doing some stupid things, like kidnap her and lock her up with him somewhere just so he could be with her.

Xander sighed at his own silly thoughts. Tomorrow he would go to a team-building retreat of Yera's group and would stay there for five days. He planned to woo her again, starting tomorrow, because he believed he had given her enough space already.

His thoughts were interrupted by his assistant's voice. "Sir, it's time for you to drink the herbal supplement," reminded Assistant Ron as he handed Xander the supplement.

"Did Yera also take this?" Xander asked before he took it from Assistant Ron's hand and drank it. "Yes, Sir. Without fail, according to her assistant," Assistant Ron answered. He already checked into it beforehand because he knew his Boss would ask him about it. Both Secretary Ness and he were also trying their best to make the couple reconcile and could clear the misunderstanding soon because they could see how Xander and Yera were suffering. Their sad eyes said it all.

Yera had just finished examining her last outpatient for the day when Rizie asked if she had any plans afterward. "Doc, how about we go outside? You look so down lately, so I think you need some fresh air," suggested Rizie as she handed Yera her daily herbal supplement.

Yera smiled before she drank the supplement. Several days had passed, and she was grateful to Xander for respecting her wish and giving her some space. She did not feel like talking to him yet because she was still upset. Deep inside, she wanted to trust Xander, but doubts were also eating her from within… She was really confused… She was really hurting from the thought that the thing that really mattered to Xander was her body. 

"See, Doc, you're beside yourself again. Why do I feel like you have some problems in your marriage? Although I'm not married and I'm inexperienced, but who knows, sometimes something useful could come out of my mouth when I give someone else a piece of advice. So, shoot and try me. Besides, I'm the safest person you can talk to since I don't know your husband," Rizie convinced Yera with a smile as she sat in front of her. "Okay, Doc, let's go," Rizie answered as she grabbed Yera's arm and headed to the mini garden on the hospital's rooftop.

Yera had grown more comfortable around Rizie, who was like a younger sister to her now. They sat on one of the benches and looked at the sky. "I like this kind of weather. Not too sunny, but not gloomy either. Just enough shade and humidity," Rizie commented, and Yera agreed.

Rizie waited for Yera to tell her about her problems instead of bringing up the subject again because she preferred Yera to share it with her willingly. She was actually saddened and worried about seeing the usually focused Dr. Song to be so beside herself and disoriented lately.

She heard Yera drew out a long deep sigh and spoke, "My marriage is actually a contract marriage, Rizie…" Rizie did not say anything and just listened well as Yera opened up to her about everything that had happened. 

Yera did not give any names, but she told Rizie everything. She omitted the part about her real identity and only narrated about how her relationship with Xander had begun, and of their current status.

"Hmmm, that's confusing, Doc... So, you're torn between two options—one is risky, while the other is safe. I remember an incident that lured me into making a quick online purchase. Even though I knew it was more than I could and should spend, time was running out. The availability of the item was in jeopardy. The site told me exactly how many were left. I wasn't even sure if it would fit my wardrobe, but because there were only two left, I figured I needed to hurry. My heart was shouting a clear 'Yes' as it was telling me how great I would look in it and how happy it would make me, while my head was shouting 'No' just as loudly as my heart. My head was instructing me to save my money instead," Rizie recounted the story.

"Decisions about relationships are even more crucial than decisions about whether or not to buy something. You may be drawn to someone who probably isn't right for you, but unlike buying a purse or a pair of pants, this decision would affect your overall well-being, and not only your wallet. It may even affect you for the rest of your life. Your heart, again, is clamoring for your attention, encouraging you to go for it. Your head, though, has a few more questions for you to answer before it would give you the permission to dive into this possibly great, but also possibly destructive relationship."

Rizie paused for a while before she turned to look at Yera and smiled as she added, "Friends and family will likely tell you to listen to your heart as it knows what's best for you."

Yera smiled and asked, "What about you, Rizie? What do you think that I should do?"

Rizie laughed as she looked to the sky and said, "Well, Doc, listening to your heart will more often hurt you than not, especially if you're under any kind of time pressure. Once you have given yourself enough time to sort through all the factors, both the rational and irrational ones, your judgment would be clearer. Decisions to take a risk may, in fact, benefit you, but I think you should just take your time whenever possible. That way, you'll get the most out of those decisions."

Yera smiled as she looked at Rizie. Rizie did not exactly tell her what to do, but she had given her a good piece of advice about how she should make a decision on her own.

"Are you impressed, Dr.Song? I told you… I could talk with sense sometimes…" said Rizie in jest, and Yera could only agree by laughing.
