The short thin faced nurse quickly backed down; her face flushed with embarrassment at been reprimanded by the doctor.

In a flurry of activity, the demon lord was taken for testing and brought back to the emergency room. While he was away, Ji Shizhen kept pacing back and forth as though he was waiting for his wife that was in the labor and delivery room, rather than on a grown man undergoing a brain scan.

The moment he saw them wheel the demon lord; his chest suddenly felt lighter as though a weight had been taken off.

"Let me check him!"

As soon as the techs from the radiology unit dropped him off, Ji Shizhen took out his stethoscope and pen light and began his assessment on the demon lord checking his reflexes and other bodily function. Suddenly, the demon lord's eyes opened as he saw a man hover around his bed.
