A young man wearing a red robe sat silently on the stage, his facial features giving the impression of looking at a painting: his lips were as red as cherries, his skin as white as snow, and the structure of his face very pleasing to look at. He wore a coquettish expression, looking a little absentminded; combined with his flowery looks, this was enough to make people’s souls leave their bodies, to see this ultimate beauty.

Mo Qingli suddenly stood up, both eyes tightly locked on the man currently on the stage, without moving a single hair’s breadth.

Seeing Mo Qingli’s reaction, Mo Qingyu’s heart sank. Could it be that Mo Qingli had also taken a fancy to him! When Mo Qingyu saw the man appear, she had finally realized that the beauty Tao Yi had talked about was him, who was beautiful to the point of destroying cities. “These three beautiful courtesans are today’s auction prizes, what does everyone think of them?” Tao Yi stood onto the stage; seeing the women below him stare at the men like hungry tigers and wolves, his heart felt extremely happy. “If everyone thinks that they are excellent, then we will begin the election! Whoever bids the most money will be able to choose one of these three beautiful courtesans, and be given the chance to spend one night with them. One hundred taels of silver is the bottom price, commence the auction.”

“Two hundred fifty taels.”

A woman immediately said afterwards.

“Three hundred taels.” The upper-class woman immediately said, while holding a handsome man inside her arms, her face filled with a resolute determination.

“One thousand taels.”

“Hiss~~” Everyone suddenly sucked in a breath of air, everyone turning to look at the woman who had just pledged “One thousand taels.” The woman’s hair was gathered in a bun halfway across her head, a red jade ornament with pearl and gold dangling from it arranged inside her hair, on her neck a pure gold necklace plated with pearl and a black dragon design. She was wearing a cheongsam embroidered with hundreds of gold butterflies and flowers, on her face a very grandeur air.

Mo Qingyu relaxed against her chair, raising her glass of tea and gingerly drinking a mouthful. With a sharp gaze she analyzed the crowd, the corners of her mouth raising slightly. Looks like, the man is mine.

The women had that had been competing before now stared resentfully towards Mo Qingyu, although they could do nothing. She had simply bid too high, leaving them with no choice but to renounce their bids.

Tao Yi, who was currently standing to the side, was filled with a source of neverending joy. This price was not even close to his wildest predictions.

Mo Qingyu’s mouth formed a smile as she glanced toward Tao Yi meaningfully. Tao Yi hurriedly went on the stage, saying, “Is there no one else who will bid higher than a thousand taels? If there is no one, than this beauty’s “first time” will be given to this madam over here!”
