The Black Tiger Chapter 25

A tall man wandered elegantly down the marbled halls, his teeth as white as snow and his hair was raven black . On the way to the main hall he encountered many people which he didn't know, but their eyes were targeted at him . He was tall and masculine built at the same time as he was slim .

It was totally different from the attention he had gotten previously which made his emotions quite displeased and confused . Of course, he hadn't expected this outcome when he had entered those huge corridors . However, it also made him smile at those ungrateful brats who never treated him like a normal human being .

Despite them being the hosts, the man didn't care about their presence . Instead, he tried to leave the party . Unfortunately, there were some people who managed to make it difficult to leave .

Charles, Theodor and Leonardo had been standing by the bar for a while flirting with multiple ladies from high ranks, until they managed to see a tall man with black wavery hair who looked troubled by the other guests . Charles couldn't remember who that was, and he felt intrigued by the fact that the man got more attention than he did . A faint clunk of the glass being placed at the nearby table indicated that Charles was going to act .

His steps did slowly approach the unlucky man who soon would become his victim . "Hello, my name is Charles and I just wanted to know if you feel troubled by the other guests?" This made Leonardo who stood only a couple of meters away roll look away . Leonardo didn't expect the muscle head to use some of his brain cells for once, but he knew this wouldn't end well .

The black-haired man looked emotionless at the 'polite' host, until he broke the short-lived silence with a smile . "There aren't any problems here Mr . Warren" His raspy, pleasing voice stated clearly . Theodor and Leonardo were quite surprised by the man's reply, especially Leo . It felt like the man understood Charles motives when he continued . "Well, I'm glad for your consideration . Unfortunately, I need to take my leave because of some certain circumstances . "

The mans deep observant eyes moved away from the crowd and onto the large red wooded doors decorated with different species of climbing plants . While he proceeded with his exit, the man could feel a tight grip on his shoulders .

"It would be considered rude to not attend this event until it is finished . " Charles hissed . The man shook of the grip and continued to exit through the doors without shifting his expression . Charles felt his blood boil as the guest ignored him once more .

"GOLDEN EYE" he shouted in rage, activating one of his abilities .

This Caused all the people in each room to notice the commotion, including the rest of the Warren family who had talked to a guest named Mr . Greed . Charles smiled frantically until he explained: "You must be shaking in fear as we speak because of my unique ability which causes you to lose your mobility . "

The guest didn't move at all until he tilted his head with a smile which displayed his annoyance . "I'm sorry, but as I mentioned earlier, I have something urgent to attend . "

The crowd knew Charles ability where strong enough to stop a moving train, this made them speechless since the man had easily moved without any difficulty . Charles started to look a bit confused and turned around only to see his father's displeased look .
