THE DUEL

The slayer... the demon known as the marauder... The latter was a powerful warrior who had been trained by none other than the sentinels, a true master of weapons. He used his chainsaw and shotgun to great effect, knocking down all that stood in his way. However, he was not fast enough to dodge the marauder's Axe swings at the slayer.
The battle raged on for what felt like hours until finally the fate of the doom slayer was decided. With one last slash of his blade the marauder caught the chainsaw blade crushing it into splinters. The doom slayer landed the final blow, forcing the marauder back against the wall.
"What are you doing here?" asked the marauder.
"I'm here to destroy the demons," said the doom slayer. "You're just a distraction."
"Then why are you fighting me? I thought you wanted to kill all the demons."
"That is true," admitted the doom slayer. "However, there are more important things that need to be done first before we can get rid of all the demons... they killed my son... and my rabbit... daisy"
The marauder looked at the doom slayer with anger as he quickly charged at him with his large Axe.
As they were about to clash, the marauder swung his Axe
and the doom slayer blocked it with his chain saw.
It was only a matter of time before the marauder would take the doom slayer down, but the marauder suddenly stopped and began to laugh

"You're, quite funny," laughed the marauder. "You really think you could defeat me?"
"I don't have to defeat you," replied the doom slayer. "All I need to do is kill you."
"And how will you accomplish this feat?" asked the marauder with an evil grin.
"With this," answered the doom slayer. He pulled out the axe from his back and threw it at the marauder. The axe hit the marauder right on the head, splitting his skull wide open. As the marauder fell over dead, the doom slayer turned around and walked away..

**HOURS LATER**
The doom slayer was without his chainsaw because he had lost it when he attacked the marauder demon. He had used his bare hands to kill and maim most of them, but now he was cornered against the far wall. They were on top of him, trying to cut off his arms and legs, but the doom slayer was relentless in his attacks. It didn't matter if he was getting slashed or stabbed, he kept coming forward, hacking and slicing anything that got too close.

He slashed and hacked at them for what seemed like hours until finally they were no more. Only then did the doom slayer look up and see the carnage that he left in his wake. His blood covered face was twisted into a fierce grin.
"Good job," said the A.I named vega in hes helmet. "Now let's go get your weapons."
The doom slayer nodded and kept walking.
