Lord Bowang's face fell, and he cried out in fury. All of a sudden, dozens of golden lotus flowers flew out from all over him and began to spin rapidly, turning into streaks of light which provided him a tight protection. But the remaining thousand-odd imperial guards he brought had all turned into black ashes as soon as they were licked by the flame. No wonder it could not withstand the attack of the flame.

Fortunately Wu Qi had attacked with Nirvana Flame, an overbearing chaotic divine flame. If it were other flames, they would have long been quenched by the Sourceless Spirit Water.

Another man was holding a white seal about the size of a fist. As he walked slowly to Lord Bowang, he cried out in a low voice, "Crown Prince, please allow me to kill this wicked man, so that we can show others that the Heaven is not something they can afford to mess with!"

Lord Bowang nodded indifferently. He retracted his golden lotus flowers and said lazily, "Kill him, then. Well, remember to search his soul for the location of that beauty. My Qiong Hua Palace has been emptied for months, and I want that beauty to fill it."

The man smiled, then raised the seal up and aimed it at Wu Qi.

Grinning coldly, Wu Qi stared at the two Celestial Officials whose cultivation bases were at the ninth-tier of the Primordial ream, and said, "Are you out of your mind? You are now in Great Yu's territory! If you dare to attack me now, you will provoke a war between the Heaven and Great Yu!"

Upon hearing Wu Qi's words, Lord Bowang suddenly burst out laughing. "So what if we really provoke a war? In just a couple more years, your Great Yu..."

Just as he was about to say something he should not, the Celestial Official with the scepter cleared his throat. Lord Bowang immediately shut his mouth. He coughed a few times to cover his embarrassment, then turned to smile at the Celestial Official and said, "Just kill everyone in this city, and no one will be able to leak this."

The two Celestial Officials exchanged a glance. The one with the seal smiled, raised the seal up and cried out lightly, "King of Dong Hai!"

Wu Qi gave him a look. Without saying a word, he produced the Heaven-pacifying Sword he kept for himself and slashed it out toward the Celestial Official. 'Why should I answer you when you call my name?' he was laughing in his heart. 'I've seen this many times in those mythological novels, that when you call my name and if I answered, the seal in your hand will have some strange transformation waiting for me. Do you really think I am that stupid? Why should I answer you?'

The Celestial Official had shouted Wu Qi's name calmly, but instead of answering, Wu Qi turned a deaf ear to that and attacked him with a sword straightaway. His face fell instantly as he hurriedly performed a different incantation gesture with his left hand, throwing the seal down toward Wu Qi's head.

As soon as the seal left his hand, it turned into a mass of light about the size of a human head. Bringing with it deep, powerful thunderclaps, it went straight toward Wu Qi's head.

Compared to the seal's splendid appearance, the Heaven-pacifying Sword Wu Qi had crafted in his previous life looked ordinary and simple. It measured three feet in length, three inches in width, and one-third of an inch in thickness. It was anciently fashioned, without any decoration or carving, and emitted no gleam.

A crisp, almost undetectable noise rang out, sounded as faint as when a divine weapon sliced through an apple. Then, the sword continued to fly toward the Celestial Official's chest, while the seal's splendid light vanished as it was sliced in half and fell to the ground, turning into a trace of light and disappeared in just the blink of an eye.

The Celestial Official grunted, opened his mouth and coughed up a stream of blood. The seal was an artifact he cultivated with his life, and was almost giving birth to its sentience and transforming into a Primordial artifact. Over the years, it had crushed countless divine weapons and claimed innumerable lives. He did not dream that a simple sword produced by Wu Qi could so effortlessly destroy his natal artifact.

Lord Bowang was, after all, the son to the Great Celestial Emperor, and that made him a man with discerning eyes. As he looked at the sword slowly flying through the air, he cried out at the top of his lungs, "It's a Chaotic Spirit Artifact! I can't believe it's a Chaotic Spirit Artifact! Damnit, how could a subject of Great Yu like you own a Chaotic Spirit Artifact?"

The sword seemed to fly at a very slow speed, and everyone could clearly see its movement, but it had locked down the Celestial Official and immobilized him. With a twisted, ferocious smile, he kicked the crown prince in the stomach, then roared with laughter. "You mean to say I'll be hunt down by the Heaven and my entire clan will be slaughtered, right? But, before I die, you will die first!"

When the other Celestial Official finally recollected himself and was performing an incantation gesture to attack Wu Qi, a spear and a halberd silently came thrusting at him from the back. The spear pierced his chest, while the halberd went from the back of his head and came out from his forehead. His body trembled. Before he could do anything, he was slain by Ao Buzun and Lord Xiansheng.

Wu Qi clutched Lord Bowang on the neck and lifted him up. "Tie him up and whip him all you like!" he said to Huang Liang with a cold smile.

Huang Liang and all the other military officials of Dong Hai were filled with wild joy as they clasped their fists and answered with a loud cry.
