The carriage continued to sway to the sides as its wheels rattled against the paved road. Right about now I was feeling like a convict being escorted to prison, and I would not be surprised if tears would start to flow out of my dead fish eyes.

Listen here, I do not care about what’s to come after this. I am talking about this situation right here, right now!

I got apprehended at the arena, forced to tell the people that were surrounding me everything I know and then I was transported into the carriage that was bound to the place where the Saint was, all thanks to the courtesy of Sacred Shield’s Territory.

However, even though I was pressed for some answers, I did not spill the beans regarding the existence of the Unique Scenario EX “The Epic of the Vorpal Bunnies” and the existence of the Unique Monster associated with it –– “Weissash the Immortal”. I also concealed the information about the “Grand Master” role. Kukuku, it seems that people are still eating from the palm of my hand…… However, that kind of knowledge is going to be revealed sooner or later.

「Never mind it all, I just want to go to sleep already……」

「Once again, please rest assured. The Saint is not someone who is free all day long, so we cannot stay there forever. Once she is going to be done with you, you will be free to go.」

Iristella, the Saint of Charity. Once upon a time it was my aim to meet her, but ever since my curse got “upgraded” the need for such a meeting was gone.

In order words, since I had little to no business here, I wanted to go home and rest. But strangely enough, it seems that the other side was somehow interested in myself personally.

「But how come that the NPC know about me? I’m mostly a solo player, and I don’t interact with the NPCs unless I really have to……」

I mean…… Technically it makes sense. If the ShangriLa Frontier’s NPCs have advanced enough AI to initiate conversations with the players of their own volition, then it would be quite natural for them to know who “Sanraku” is, especially if other players keep on talking about such person.

「Apparently, when she was told about a wandering warrior travelling together with a talking Vorpal Bunny, she thought it was the work of the God of Fate himself, and so she wanted to meet you…… At least that is the version I have heard.」

Note to self: pinch Emul’s cheeks as hard and wide as I can once we see each other again. But still, that Saint-chan is a real peace of work. Talk about being dedicated to the cause.

「But I must say, a weapon from the Age of the Gods…… Say, what kind of materials were used to make that shield? For a tank such as myself, the ability to absorb magic attacks and use them to power yourself up is pretty dang useful.」

「I do not think you will be able to collect those materials, even if you tried. You would have to dive at the bottom of the ocean for them. And besides, the Magic Absorbtion is an ability that was assign randomly to Dis Pater by the system. So there is no guarantee you would get the same result.」

For some strange reason, I was surprised to see the leader of the Sacred Shield’s Territory, Joset, to look at me with his eyes wide open. Did I say anything strange, by any chance?

「Ah…… That was more friendly that I have thought. I thought it would be all business-like with you.」

「What’s that all about?」

「Hmm, hmm…… No, it’s nothing. I just thought that the all business-like model of conversation that the “Library” adapts would not be all that fitting here.」

Rather than that, Joset looks at my body all over, from head to toe, and then admits with the openness that you would never possibly expect from anyone from “Library”. His eyes opened even wider here.

「Look, I have nothing against your personal hobbies or tastes. I really don’t. However, the Saint-chan really is obsessed with cleanliness and purity, so please try you understand this: I cannot possibly allow her to meet a half-naked man, even if you appearance has meaning roleplay—wise.」

Just like that, in order to avoid some possible problems and troubles, I use the Holy Grail to change myself into a woman.
