Reincarnation into the World of Naruto 38 Dumpling

Jiro continued to walk as the sun shined down on him. He and Jiraiya had been moving for most of the morning and he was now looking forward to some lunch. Jiro presumed that the team they were looking for would also be eating so he didn't think that it would be a waste of time to eat lunch.

"Hey Jiraiya what do you want for lunch?"

Jiraiya paused in his tracks as the mental image of steaming dumplings came to mind. He had visited the restaurant that served those dumplings and it was delicious. Naturally, it was also a potential spot to take Tsunade out for a date. Furthermore, the restaurant was placed near the front of the village allowing for many people to visit it. This meant that he and Jiro could continue to be out in the open while eating.

Jiro was fine with the idea of visiting that place so he continued to walk with Jiraiya. As they were strolling closer and closer to the restaurant, Jiro could feel the atmosphere begin to tense. Many testers were also present nearby the restaurant. It wasn't quite on the level of killing intent, but it was an intense feeling that permeated through the atmosphere.

By the time Jiro and Jiraiya walked into the restaurant, many teams were surreptitiously staring at them as well as among themselves. Jiro did not like how he was being stared at, but Jiraiya did not mind, even posing along the way. As they sat down at the table, Jiraiya began to speak.

"Jiro, I think our plan worked too well. Everyone is going to be after us. I think that there is some hidden bounty set on us that makes us worth a lot. Everyone's staring at us like we're the key to graduating from Genin to Chunin."

Jiro listened, but his attention was focused on everyone. At some point, the civilians who had been nearby all left or started to walk away as the restaurant filled with Genin. The tensions in the atmosphere continued to rise and Jiraiya shifted a little in his seat getting into a better stance. At this point, both teammates realized that their plan was both successful, but a failure.

They had successfully baited over five different teams to them, but none of them were the team that they were looking for. The waitress hurried over and placed a plate of dumplings before Jiro and Jiraiya, then quickly scurried off into the kitchen. Jiro and Jiraiya made eye contact before both of them slowly reached for the dumplings with their chopsticks.

When their chopsticks made contact with the fluffy bun of the dumpling, Jiro and Jiraiya sprung into action. Jiro threw the Genins into a mass Genjutsu impairing their sight momentarily as Jiraiya leaped out of the restaurant with Jiro shortly following him after. They could run off and avoid the fight, but Jiro and Jiraiya were both raring to fight. Furthermore, they would just get into a game of chase which both were not proficient in.

Jiro and Jiraiya got into a stance for battle with Jiro in front and Jiraiya behind. Waves of Genin rushed towards them apparently not wanting to risk losing them so both teammates charged into battle.

The fastest ninjas arrived first and some of them charged at Jiro. Jiro ducked under the punch of the ninja and kicked him in the crotch. The boy collapsed on the floor in agony as some ninja winced at the brutal blow that Jiro had delivered. Jiro continued to duck and weave between blows as three more ninja attacked him from all angles. Every once in a while he would deflect an attack, but Jiro did not counter attack yet.

He was waiting to deliver a swift one hit kill sort of attack to minimize the hassle of slowly shaving down an opponent. Jiro's sharingan was already activated and he was continuing to move smoothly under the surge of attacks. Unfortunately, Jiro realized he would have to abandon this strategy as Jiraiya was starting to look kind of overwhelmed. He had even more ninja than Jiro after him and Jiro realized that he would soon be captured.

Jiro didn't bother to avoid the next punch and took the blow before delivering a swift punch right into the solar plexus of his attacker. With one ninja disoriented, Jiro moved once again to this time slam a wind claw into the back of his opponent. Jiro didn't make it sharp as that would have been potentially fatal, so the claw propelled the face of his attacker right into the dirt.

With the circle of attackers broken, Jiro leaped out making some ninja at the back go after him while others disengaged from Jiraiya alleviating some of the pressure on him. Unfortunately, Jiraiya was still not completely recovered so Jiro had to take some drastic measures.

Jiro just charged into the crowd and he felt multiple attacks hit him on his back, head, neck and other limbs. Unfortunately for the Genin, Jiro's powerful physique as well as small body was in full display as their Taijutsu attacks merely slowed him or glanced off of him. At this point, Jiro was on a rampage delivering blow after blow to ninjas before switching targets. He slammed a knee into a girl's gut before swiping at her leg with his own and finishing her off with an axe kick that slammed her face into the dirt.

Jiraiya also managed to break the circle of ninja circling him and he quickly launched a spread out fireball forcing some of the ninja surrounding him back. Jiro saw that Jiraiya was fine now so he leaped off the knee of a Genin to get air before kicking off the head of another to arrive near jiraiya. The number of Genin had been reduced from around seven teams to five, but all the leftover teams were missing various amounts of members.

The team with only one member left leaving four teams. Two of the teams were missing a member while another team was still full. The last team looked to have recently joined as none of the members were marked up in any way. Jiro was fine, but the sharingan was overbearing in its chakra requirement so he turned it off. Jiraiy was already very exhausted and the other teams noticed.
