Crackle! Crackle! Sizzle! Sizzle!
Without any warning, the entire lake was suddenly electrified and the water drake swung its body around to look at the pest that had caused it.
Roaaar! It let out an angry shout and this time swam towards the cliff where Qin Hua was standing. It whipped its tail and finally retaliated, sending out a huge blast of lake water and air currents towards her.
[Ah! Damn it. RUNNNN!]
Qin Hua instantly switched places with her clone again running back to the gate. She had really assumed that this would work, but the damned drake did not look injured at all.
[Whyyyyy!] She pounded on the cave's floor in anger. Did her attack even sting the damned beast? Even though the beast was in the water and her attack should have had the advantage, she had failed yet again.
[Are none of my attacks strong enough to cross its physical defense?]
This time she was truly out of ideas. [Growl! Let me try attacking it once with my best shadow attack.] At this point, she didn't know what else to do.
She could probably return back here with Lu Chen and Alex and try defeating the drake together with them? Though their power levels were a lot lower compared to her, they could train harder together.
Qin Hua sighed in frustration and decided to attack one more time before leaving the rift. She summoned her clone and ran back to the drake, with a long and thick spear made out of swirling black wisps of energy.
It was actually a specific kind of spear with three tips, fashioned like a trident. So this weapon had all the ideal components including weight, focus, and power.
She dashed towards the drake and quickly tossed it at the beast. B.A.N.G!
A loud reverberation echoed as her strongest most concentrated attack hit the beast, striking directly against its thick hard scales.
Qin Hua only had a second to observe before disappearing and she saw that she had actually managed to crack a couple of its scales!
Another enraged roar echoed as she once again switched places with her clone, landing next to Coco ready to run.
But this time, even though her heart was still beating out of her chest, the wolf had a wild grin on her face.
Meow? Coco cocked her head to the side curiously to see what her master was so happy about when her eyes sparkled as she watched Qin Hua in awe.
