Red Dead Redemption Dawn Chapter 172

"Red Dead Redemption Dawn(!

"Hey! Friends." John crouched down and handed the tramp a cigarette.

The tramp glanced at John and then at the gun on John's waist before taking the cigarette.

"What do you want to ask?" the homeless asked after lighting a cigarette and taking two deep breaths.

"I want to find something that is not available on the market, do you know where to find it?" John asked with a smile.

The tramp looked John repeatedly, as if weighing something.

After a while, he said hesitantly, "Go in from this intersection, then go straight to the north at the first turn, turn right at the end, go to the third intersection, and when you go to the end of the west, you will see a A tavern. Rattlesnake, talk to the clerk and you'll find what you're looking for."

John carefully wrote down what he said, and then generously took out the five-dollar bill and handed it to him.

"Thank you for not choosing me as a target." John smiled and said to him before walking towards what he said.

The homeless man looked at the money in his hand and the figure that disappeared at the intersection. He was a little fortunate that he didn't come.

John followed the instructions of the tramp for more than half an hour before arriving at the Rattlesnake Tavern he mentioned. It looks pretty good. From the front, there are five pavements in size, but I don't know how deep it is.

He walked into the pub. There were still many people in the pub during the day. He went to the counter and ordered a glass of whisky, then looked at the bartender at the counter.

Then take an extra dollar and pass it to the bartender.

The bartender was not polite and just put it away.

"Sir, what can I do for you?"

John took a sip of whiskey and asked, "I heard you can help me buy something that isn't on the market?"

"It depends on what it is." The bartender said naturally.

"My friend owes some money in New Hanover. He needs some money now, so he asked me to help him deal with some of his valuables. Do you know who collects these things?" Take a sip.

The bartender looked John up and down and seemed to think that John didn't look like a robber, but there are many people who don't look like robbers these days. So he glanced left and right, as if looking for John's companion.

"Just me." John saw his intentions and said with a smile.

"Then come with me." The bartender took John back after confirming that there was really no one else.

John finished his drink and followed the bartender.

The two passed through the back kitchen and came to a narrow aisle connecting the back kitchen. Then they climbed a staircase, the two walked for more than ten minutes, and the two entered a building.

Then the voice next door suddenly became louder, but the bartender did not stop.

John listened carefully for a while. It was a big casino next door.

The two walked for another ten minutes, and he took John to a small house, furnished here that looked like a pawnshop.

Many people here are taking out their things and handing them over to the people at the counter.

No one paid attention to the two of John, they seemed to care about no one except themselves.

The bartender took John to the pawnshop counter and said to John.

"Give him your valuable play, and they will give you an estimate." After speaking, he returned to the original road.

The bartender John, who was watching him leaving, turned to look at a few middle-aged white men with glasses in the pawnshop.

"Sir, my name is Dilt, and I'm very happy to serve you. Take your things out and show us, we'll give you the best price, and we'll take your things if we think the price is right." A white man pushed the eyes on his nose and said.

"Okay." John took a bag of jewelry swag from his pouch and placed it on the table.

Dilt took it and poured it out directly, but he was a little surprised by such a large amount of jewelry. But it only flashed across his face, and then calmed down.

He skillfully picks out some things and distributes them to the people next door.

From time to time, several people took out magnifying glasses and began to observe, looking up and down these jewels.

John has a lot of volume, so it took a long time, about 30 minutes.

Then Dilt put down the last ring in his hand and said to John.

"Sir, your things are not bad, except for some necessary scratches, they are well preserved. So we can probably give you, um~" Dilt tapped on the abacus, and then wrote in a notebook. Write down the numbers.

"This number." Dilt handed the note to John.

John took it and saw that it said six thousand seven hundred and sixty dollars.

After watching John see the numbers on the notebook, Dilt said, "If you agree with the price, sir, then we will start sorting and collecting these things."

"Well, yes." John nodded, and the bags of the jewelry store were gathered together by John. So that's the full value of the jewelry store.

"Okay, sir." Dilt took a sack prepared by a staff member and handed it to John.

The bag looked very thick, and John looked at it, and it was basically this kind of bag.

"Mr. can count it on the spot, or take it home and count it. If the number is wrong, you can come back to me at any time." Dirt said confidently.

"Yes." He took the bag, opened it and glanced at it. It was basically ten dollar bills, and then put the bag into his backpack.

"Sir, you can play here or leave directly. We have at least eight exits here," Dilt reminded kindly.

"Thank you, if you need it." After thanking John, he left here and walked towards their prompt exit.

He observed, this casino really has eight exits.

He picked a stairway at random and went down. His entry and exit did not attract anyone's attention. After coming out, John looked back. This is an eight-story building and occupies a large area.

The first floor is a restaurant, and there seems to be a partition on the second floor, covering up the noise of the casino on the second floor.

Avoid dining discomfort in the restaurant on the first floor.

After leaving here, John walked towards a homeless man squatting on the side of the road.

"Hey, friend. Can I ask something?" John asked, as usual, handing the tramp a cigarette.

"Let's hear it." The homeless man seemed to talk a lot.

"I want to pick up some valuable playthings at home for some cash. Do you know the price is fair?"

"Ah~ this, there are many places like this, but if the price is fair, go to the vegetable market in the slum. That place was opened by a Qing Dynasty. They call that place a pawn, and you will know if you ask." The tramp thought about it and said to John.

"Thank you." John smiled and handed him a dollar before getting up and leaving.

After inquiring along the way, John came to the vegetable market in the slum, and this place is "dirty" is the best evaluation.

There are Qing Dynasty Han people with braids everywhere here~www.mtlnovel.com~ They speak standard Cantonese, are they scolding mothers and greeting their families.

John was in this vegetable market, which seemed to be Han Chinese at first glance.

John shook his head and then he stopped a decently dressed Han man and asked.

"Excuse me, where is the **** shop here?" John said naturally in English.

The man glanced at John, then showed John the way in slightly accented English.

"Thank you." After thanking John, he walked towards the pawnshop.
