According to information Yaeger learned after returning to the city, Nectar had been waiting in the commercial district for a long time. They met each other but didn't speak, and crossed paths.

Yet, before long, they met up in an alley. Then, they reached a place near the hotel using a hidden underground passage.

"You're here." The moment Yaeger approached the room, she heard Alicia's alluring voice.

The door opened automatically and a pleasant aroma assaulted her senses.

Yaeger went inside while Nectar waited outside.

"Alicia, just lie down." Yaeger immediately spoke after seeing the beauty on the bed trying to rise up.

Hearing that, Alicia laid down obediently. "Then please excuse my rudeness."

"I'm here today to tell you good news and bad news. I'm sure you already know the good news, right? That's right. I reached Platinum rank ahead of schedule."

Yaeger sat on the bed without hesitation, tidying up Alicia's bed sheets with her hands.

She looked worse when compared to two days prior. Unique black patterns had appeared on her pale white skin. This was the sign that the curse was about to activate. Her time was running out.

"Thank you." Alicia smiled softly. "You really surprise me every time."

As she spoke, she took her hands out of the quilt and gently placed it on Yaeger's back, it was chilly.

"Next, will we enter the underground maze just like we originally planned?" Yaeger asked.

"Yes. I'll do it earlier. It takes time to open the maze. If there are no accidents, it will open tonight. However, you can't enter the newly opened maze because it's filled with harmful gasses. It'll take some time for it to dissipate."

Alicia said.

"Yes." Yaeger nodded. It seemed like their plan of descending into the maze wasn't expedited due to her increase in level.

After some thought, she knew that was normal. Places like these that were sealed away for many years would require some preparation before they were safe to enter.

"By the way, Alicia, how long will the trial take?"

“One day. Even if you fail the maze trials, you can only remain inside for one day at most." Alicia said softly.

“How much do you know about history?” Alicia asked.

After some thought, Yeager shook her head. "Not that much."

In a past life, she had been grinding the game for progress. She had no time to learn about the history of this world.

The knowledge she knew were practically things that she learned from a reading quest introductions.

"In this world, there are six recorded eras. Black Iron, Bronze, Platinum, Jade, Black Crystal, and Diamond. Black Iron, Bronze, and Platinum were collectively known as the Barbaric Era. Jade, Black Crystal, and Diamond were collectively known as the Mythic Era.”

“Before these 2 great eras, there was undoubtedly another era that was glorious beyond equal. Which was the Archeozoic Era.”

“Most of the magical knowledge on the continent today was developed from Archeozoic Heritage. This is unrelated to the story we're talking about, so I won't mention it. Back to topic. Have you ever seen God?" Alicia stared at Yaeger seriously.

The latter eventually shook her head after a moment of silence.

It was definitely wrong to say there was no God in this world. However, 99.9999% people would shake their heads if they were asked if they ever saw God.

This was an era where God didn't exist!

"According to historical records, God is present in the later stages of the Barbaric Era and the earlier stages of the Mythic Era. They lived in this world and their race is called the Eternal Race.”

“But, they will die when they are killed, just like humans. Only those gods who have reached the pinnacle are the exception to that rule." Alicia paused at this moment and then spoke, "they can die. This is why they desire strength greatly.”
