Prisoner of her love 25 Memories from childhood -8

As soon as vivian heard his words she couldn't take it anymore. Unbelievable pain immensed into her heart, so much pain!

She thought she shouldn't have attended the party. Without any delay she left the place.

On her way to home it became impossible for her to control her emotions and she broke down.

She wailed like a kid. She didn't care about the weird stares from people. After a while she managed to compose herself and stopped crying. She got up wiped the tears and messed mascara. She stepped into transport bus and left for home.

Luckily no one was at home. She entered into it and closed the door. She then entered her bathroom and started filling up the tub. She especially filled it with cold water. Since it was winter the water was already very cold, but Vivian didn't mind. She slowly took off her clothes and entered the bathtub. The chills from water made her stiff. It helped her to calm her emotional pain and instead physical pain overcame. She stayed in the bath for almost an hour. She quickly then cleaned herself and left for her room. She searched for something under her bed. When she finally found it her pain increased even more.

It was a box. A memory box. The box contained all of her memories with Luke. A photo album, her personal diary, the wrappers of the chocolates gifted to her by him, all the small gifts he gave her whether on her birthday or Christmas or whenever she won prizes in competition. He liked to give her small gifts like hairpieces, chocolates, bracelets, earrings , pendants, watches and a beautiful sand hourglass.

She took her diary in her hands and stared reading it-

'12th march 20xx,

Today Luke and l watched a romantic movie at his place. Originally, all of the friends agreed to watch it together but unfortunately they couldn't make it. Nina too said she has to go somewhere, such an understanding best friend I have! Although Luke seemed to dislike the movie saying that the movie doesn't make any sense, but the movie was not important, the fact that we stayed with eachother matters the most.

I still couldn't figure out what he feels about me, aaaaahhh! it is so confusing!!! '

'25th may 20xx,

Today Luke said that blue color suits me the most! Really? If he likes to see me in blue, I am ready to wear blue everyday!!!'

'2nd June 20xx,

Today we fought with eachother again. He is soooo annoying. I still wonder how come I like this stupid guy? He gives me headaches!!! '

'7th July 20xx,

In the school one girl purposely pulled my chair in intention for making me fall. Luckily Luke caught me and prevented me from falling. I don't know whether he has seen the red colour of my cheeks. Oh, so embarrassing! He even taught that girl a lesson. When I asked him why did you do that he just said,

" In this world, no one can bully you except ME! if anyone dared to do that I will beat that person! Remember that... "

Why did he said that? '

One by one she read all of her diary, again and again, chuckling herself while doing it. After that she began tearing the pages. One by one, the sounds of tearing resembled to the sound of her tearing heart. Then she got out of the room reached the fireplace and threw the torn pages and her diary in it.

She again started crying as she watched the pages she treasured more than anything burn just like that. She then took out the album in intension of burning but as she watched the happy faces of her and her friends, she stopped. She kept it in the box.

Then she took all the gifts Luke gave her so far and threw them in the dustbin. She wanted to get rid of anything which remainded her love for him.
