“I'm full.” Leah hesitated for a moment, then spoke quietly. “I'd like to eat more, but…I can't. Maybe it's because I haven't eaten in a long time.”

Ishakan was silent. His eyes glowed brightly, but any hint of danger quickly faded. He didn't try to coax her any further, just took the food away, and then came back to hug Leah tightly.
