The girls started to complain and worry because afterall, Sheng Ri was a rising star recently. Shooting up to 7th place in the Popular Celebrity Ranks, Sheng Ri has earned herself a foot standing in the Entertainment Industry. Sheng Ri acted as a main character in a new hit called " My Dream Girl," a modern romance that captured a lot of teenagers. The girls have lost all hopes now and one by one they decided to leave. Originally, there were about 50 girls, now there was only 15 left who was still courageous and decided not to give up and one of them was Xia Zuming. Suddenly there was a call for a number. Seeing that the person was gone and so was the next and the next, the assistant decided to reasign new numbers for everyone and continued from there. "Number 8!!" They called and Sheng Ri stood up to go in. She looked so confident and walked in with a mocking grin on her face.
Xia Zuming gave her a glance then turned away to go through her script once more. She was the last to go, Number 15, so she had more time to prepare. It was also a good thing because last turn always leaves a bigger impact. Then Sheng Ri walked out feeling proud of herself. Sitting herself down on a chair, she grinned the whole time waiting for them to quickly go through the line and announce her the winner.
Sheng Ri could have gotten the female lead role but before she could even audition, the lead role was already given to Ming Yue, number 1 female star and the second female lead was Fu Mei Li, who she lost to during the audition for the second female lead. Her only option left now to be in the film was the supporting character who even gets to act with Fu Gao, the male lead who topped the chart for male stars, so obviously she would take this chance.
Sheng Ri also know she has won this audition because she had a higher status than any of the girls here so she was confident. At long last, Xia Zuming's number was called and she stood up to go in. " Are you sure you're gonna do this even though you might come out crying?" Sheng Ri asked as Xia Zuming walked by. " I'm pretty sure that someone is you, who have lost to so many others," Xia Zuming said as she walked on towards the door. "You!" Sheng Ri got up angry but huffed out " Don't be so confident newbie, you're gonna fail this audition!" Sheng Ri shouted at Xia Zuming as she walked inside the room.
Closing the door and looking ahead of her, she saw 6 judges sitting behind a table. Welcome! said the lady at the right side of the middle man at the table. "What's your name?" she asked. " Hi, my name is Xia Zuming," Xia Zuming as she looked a head of her. She seemed cool and calm on the outside but inside her mind was racing and her heart was beating fast. " You can do this Zuming!" Xia Zuming said inside her head. " Hello, Zuming, can you tell us why you want to play Fa Ti?" the lady asked again. " The moment I read the script, I fell in love with Fa Ti. She's strong and courageous and seems cold but she's actually warm on the inside. I love how she would sacrifice even her own life for Qin Yin. It shows how she is willing to sacrifice for the things and people that she loves."
" Alright, can you act out scene 14, and there's a script if you need it. Go ahead." The lady said. " Thank you," Xia Zuming turned around and closed her eyes. This was the scene where Fa Ti was captured by the Light side after finding that out that she was from the Dark side. Fa Ti is mad that Qin Yin treated her this way even though he said he loved her. Then she declared that she would get revenge on Qin Yin. Fang Ti was mad that he betrayed her. Xia Zuming opened her eyes and turned around.
" Qin Yin why?!" Why?! You said that you love me! Were those mere words to lure me in?! I believed in you!" Xia Zuming shouted out suddenly. "Just you wait! I'll never forget this!" Becoming Fa Ti, Xia Zuming shrunk back after yelling, hurt and sad. Fa Ti declared to herself. " No use crying over this, Fa Ti. We need to get out of here and get revenge!" There was a fire burning in her eyes, ready to kill someone. Then, memories ofher and Qin Yin flashed through her head and she slowly made her way to the ground. Bringing her legs close to her chest, she hugged them and tears began to fall down her cheeks and in her eyes, there was sadness and anger. Xia Zuming blinked her eyes and she came back as being Fa Ti. She turned to face the judges and they were completely shocked. During the whole act, they didn't utter a single sound. The moment Xia Zuming turned around and yelled at them, they were shocked beyond words and as Xua Zuming progressed, they could see the real Fa Ti right there in front of them. Tears were even coming down their eyes witnessing how much hurt Fa Ti went through. Regaining consciousness, the man in the middle spoke up. " You mentioned that your name was Xia Zuming right?"
" Yes, sir."
