 Chapter 89: Courage

Inside Yunshang Inn, Nan Gengchen was a crying mess as he was dragged to a room on the second floor.

The bonfire light swayed outside the window, but he felt like he was falling into hell.

Nan Gengchen wailed, “Brother, I beg you please don’t touch me, really, I think Hu Xiaoniu and Zhang Tianzhen look much better, you should go for them!”

He sobbed while secretly putting all his might to exert his bowel.

After speaking, he let go of the walkie-talkie and moved to haul Nan Gengchen out of the room.

When the thug leaned over to grab him, a masked boy who was previously obscured behind his body appeared in Nan Gengchen’s field of vision.

The boy covered his face with a scarf, but Nan Gengchen could still see the fiery red lines spreading from under the scarf to the corners of his eyes.

He didn’t know when this boy appeared. Both him and the thug never noticed him approaching.

Qing Chen was not at all surprised that Nan Gengchen could recognize himself.

They had been classmates since the first year of high school, and after the division of liberal arts and science classes, they had also become desk-mates.
