Chapter 8: The Beginning of A Plan

Draco started to cut into his steak while glancing over to the rest of the table. He notices Benjamin sitting over there and talking to a ghost.

 

He shakes his head. It appears that the rumors about him are not completely false. The guy looks like a fool talking to ghosts.

 

This makes him feel annoyed towards Benjamin.

 

Pansy giggling over Draco’s ear and said, “Draco, I heard your father some time ago visited the Ludwig Manor. ”

 

“Oh, Yes, Pansy, would you like be more like a lady and get away from me! The topic of my father is for business purposes only.”

 

Benjamin and the Bloody Baron spoke to each other.

 

“Overall, it’s pretty bad, isn’t it? In addition to being a fool, he may even be a squib.”

 

Benjamin narrowed his eyes.

The dishes and food in front of them suddenly became empty. Benjamin had suspected that they were in fact made from magic.
He stood up and left Draco a bit angry.

 

While his experiments needed an assistant to help him with. They must be talented, loyal, and not cynical. Draco still needs to hone these skill before that.

 

These poor nobles did not know that they are not even yet worthy of being Benjamin’s assistant in his eyes.

 

A group of freshmen did the normal chicken and hen routine while following the prefect back to the common room. There was a roll call, he told them a few basic rules, and then lead them under the Black Lake to the Slytherin common room.
Benjamin saw from the window a mermaid. This is the kind of magical creatures that he knew in Benjamin’s previous world.

 

“Boys, I need to tell you some good news.” Said Professor Snape in a deadpan disgusted look. It did not seem like he is telling good news.

 

“Slytherin has a house tradition called the guide. For the next three months until Christmas, there will be an older student here to guide you on how to live well at Hogwarts.”

 

This sounds interesting. Hogwarts is known as Britains safest school, even with the many dangers and secrets within.

 

“I will now name each students guide for the fall. Professor Snape said as he looked at he students.

 

“Parkinson, Pansy, guide, Miss Hellen Watson. ”
“Lucien Muller, your guide is Zabini Wayne .”

 

Muller? Sounds like a German name. Benjamin wasn’t sure as the people who visted his father were not really there to see him.

“Benjamin Ludwig, your guide is Karl Black. “Professor Snape had finished lists last, indicating the level up to one eye, has left them with only one flying robe hem.

 

“Black? I do not remember this Black  in your family. Did your aunt have

children? “Gore said to Draco. Almost all people here know, the death eater Bellatrix Lestrange was Draco’s aunt.

A dark-haired, plain, but seemingly approachable young man came over.

Due to the Slytherin having the fewest number of students, they were each assigned to a single room. This was very satisfying to him.

10 pm was the curfew time at Hogwarts. The students were not allowed to go out at night. There was a saying that the Nights of Hogwarts are more terrible than you think.

 

Scary? For Benjamin, it is not a problem. He is a terrifying necromancer.

 

Benjamin has never learned his guide that night at Hogwarts only a squib, Filch, an old man always had a cat patrol.

 

He hated them.
