My Room Has Become a Dungeon's Rest Area Chapter 1.06

Right now, I was sitting inside the bathroom with the frosted glass door behind me. What am I doing, you ask?

After the rampaging shower incident, she said she was scared if I’m wasn't around. So, here I am....

There are basically no dangerous things in a modern Japanese living articles. But science and tecnology can be a dangerous thing for poeple of medieval level perhaps. So I decided to stay nearby until she was satisfied and the bath is over. She should take a bath slowly to warm up her cold body with water.

While Ria was inside the bath, we are having a conversation like this through the frosted glass. It’s unlikely that I can go to get her shield at this rate. I asked her about something that suddenly came to my mind.

[It’s a Goblin. I was knocked down after getting shoot by a blow dart, I guess] (Ria)

I thought Goblins weren't strong opponent but it's different from my game knowledge perhaps.

[It may not be a big deal for Great Wiseman-sama, but this abandoned capital of the underground empire, to be precise this Yomi dungeon was a dangerous place for any adventurer, or so I heard] (Ria)

I see. The dungeon that connected to my apartment is called Yomi dungeon huh. I got one more information that this dungeon in the abandoned underground empire was a very dangerous place.

[Even I didn’t think an ordinary Goblin would attack me with a blowgun and paralysis poison. The monster in this dungeon is special. They are quick, smart, and....] (Ria)

Slime that runs quickly and couldn’t catch up at all or about a monster that give a lot exp point like a certain game? That’s one thing, but I was more curious with a different matter!

If there is numerical status for each person, we could understand our aptitude or talent that we probably possessed. This is an intriguing matter for a Japanese person like me. We can avoid useless effort with this, but of course there is a possibility it also can make you frustated.

[Eh? Eeeh? Is there any other way to check your status?] (Ria)

[There is! There is! So please tell me how is Ria doing it!] (Toru)

[Ye-Yes. Just think about it in your heart and you will see the numbers, right? I mean, It was a providence made by God who created this world....] (Ria)

[Eh? I can’t see my status! Why!?] (Ria)

When I was overjoyed, Ria was grieved because her status didn't come out. Perhaps, I know the reason but let's tell Ria something a little convenient.

I think there is no monster inside this dungeon’s big room because the door was closed.

[Pl-Please excuse me. I escaped after I got hit by the paralisys poison and closed the door before I collapsed so no monster would chasing me. There should be a switch on the wall] (Ria)

As I thought, so there was no monster.

[When I carried you, I left your shield in the dungeon so I will going to get it] (Toru)

[Hmm? Please don’t mind it! I’m very grateful you have saved my life] (Ria)

[I’ts fine! there is no monster, right?] (Toru)

[Eh, yeah.... probably!] (Ria)

[Well then, please take your time inside the bath] (Toru)

I wore a helmet with a headlight that was put on the dinning table. I also took the pickaxe from my belt and held it in my hand. I put paper and a pen inside my pocket. Even I know my status, dungeon is still dangerous place to step in so I will take some notes.

I carefully make sure there was no noise from the other side of door and opened it slowly. I peeked out the door to confirm no monster around a couple times

[Yossha!! It seems good!] (Toru)

There is just a little tension remaining to step into the dungeon this time. I felt much more nervous to see my status. Is this possible? Or is this impossible? If I can see my status.... whether there is a biright future or a dark future ahead of me instead.

[Fwuuuuh!] (Toru)

Before confirming my status, I couldn’t help but to take a deep breath first.
