Hi. My name is Ellen. I am 8 years old.

I never thought that I would experience what the Buddhists call reincarnation.

Before, I was a scientist in a country called Japan, so religion was a completely unrelated concept to me.

My research laboratory was mainly engaged in the discovery of new substances and research and development of new materials.

We mainly dwell various things, such as synthesis, measurement, and trial production of substances, and from there, elucidate the effects and phenomena of metal compounds, electronic materials, and organic conductors. Since our field of research is difficult even if in it's in another department, every time the synthesis of a new element was successful, everyone in the laboratory would make a fuss about it.

To be honest, I can't really remember why I died.

I feel like I was doing some kind of experiment at the laboratory before I suddenly collapsed due to overwork, which isn't surprising since I often forego sleeping due to my research.

I was 28 years old, so I was practically a woman who was married to my research, but I remember that every day was  really fulfilling

So, back to the beginning, the story of this hero is my father in this world.

My Mother is the original queen origin. And I was born eight years ago between spirits and humans.

To tell the truth, my father fell asleep in the spirit world, but he woke up about a year later.

As soon as he woke up tired from listening to the gist of the situation, felt that returning home was bothersome,

he decided to stay in the spiritual world for a while, signed a contract, and fell in love with my mother, the spirit queen, and thus they tie the knots from which I came to be

My father became a half-spirit because of engaging with mother who is the spirit queen. which caused him to lose control of his power

His powers originally gained from borrowing mothers power after contracting with her. In the process of combining it and making it his power, since a foreign power tried to merge with his own power, causing his own power to reject it, and it became uncontrollable.

Because of the danger he poses, this time, he ended up becoming unable to return to the world for a different reason.

And so to control his power, he stayed in the spirit world, and after I was born, he stayed longer as he decided to take care of me as well.

And This includes my training period.

I was born as a quarter between a human and a spirit and combined with my power that stemmed from the strong remnant that I had in my previous life.

As soon as I realised that I was reincarnated, I was excited about what my fate was like and went crazy on experimenting on my cheats.

Its been two years since my education as the next queen of the spirit world began, I still ponder on it sometimes, but I didn't regret my life as a researcher.

Maybe it's because of my researcher soul, but experiments had become a natural habit for me. So much that unless I did it, I wouldn't be able to fall asleep.

For a spirit to be able to materialise, they had to be stronger than a great spirit.

However, I am able to take the form of a human because I had human blood inside of me, and that also means that I will also grow at the same speed as humans.

Even so, my body is smaller than the average of human children, probably because of my spirit blood. But I'm not even 120cm tall compared to the average height of a ten-year-old girl. So I was often mistaken for 5-6 years old.

My mother said that my growth would stop when I am about 15 years old in human terms. Even so, seeing my slow growth, I can't help but tilt my head in confusion.

That's when I noticed that my slow growth might have something to do with my past life since I was very petite previously.

…… As you guessed, I had small breasts and a babyface… it was such that even if I confessed to someone, I was told that they only see me as a younger sister. There was even a time I was told that he was afraid to be seen as a criminal, which traumatised me enough to make me avoid going outside for a while.

By the way, my mother has large breasts.  Probably 8 or 9 places from A. I hope that her DNA will do its magic on me in the future.

However, smilingly said that I should always remain small as it would make it easier for him to hug me this way.

And I too have already given up,  usually banzai at my father routinely pestering for hugs.

Once I reach my growth peak, I will start to age a year once after decades to hundreds of years. I think I want to take a loooong view at my growth.

As for my power, I think that you should be able to guess from the name 「Ellen」, it comes from the word "element". Yes, it is a chemical element.

for some reason, I was reincarnated as an elemental spirit.
