The 11/11 gala, the famous carnival night, was the grandest stage for brands to display their products, creatively linking television to the internet and the economy. Meng Fan chuckled and nodded. All else aside, he had to at least enter the venue. He thought that based on his presence, he had a 100% chance of being caught on camera as it scanned through the audience. Even if it was just a few seconds, it would still net a high number of viewers.

As for performing live on stream, Meng Fan wasn't so arrogant that he would perform on stage with his singing skills. That was basically impossible.

It wasn't like his singing was actually any good. As for reputation, he was kind of known in the industry, but the organizers would have to be delusional to actually invite him to participate.

Sing with Bai Zhi?

This wasn't Bai Zhi's concert. Even if she was willing to bring him, the organizers might not agree. Of course, if Bai Zhi insisted, they wouldn't turn her down completely. But the premise to this was that Bai Zhi felt Meng Fan was 100% dedicated to performing at the gala. Otherwise, she couldn't force the organizers either.

A background singer was supposed to harmonize and support the singer's voice. If he were to harmonize, he would only drag the singer. His voice was that good.

Although accompaniment and background singers were very important, they could be 'strategically sourced' to a certain degree. If Meng Fan was adequate enough and wasn't too demanding, it wouldn't be difficult to get him a spot.

It was okay to play a supporting role, but it was impossible for him to take a main role in the background chorus.

Bai Zhi's phone began ringing with a video chat request. After speaking a few words, she called Meng Fan over, pointing the camera at him. A dirty and chubby figure appeared on the other end, scaring Meng Fan out of his skin. He then began to laugh. It wasn't just a random dude, but Meng Cai Wei!

"What are you doing? Did you fall into the mud?" Meng Fan asked.

"I just finished filming and haven't cleaned up yet."

Meng Cai Wei didn't give two damns about her current appearance. Even in her current state, she still gave off an attractive aura. She maintained the stance of a lady, who had just climbed out of a mud pit but was still the most beautiful person on earth.

"You little brat..."

After Meng Cai Wei watched the video Su Qing Cen had sent her, she had searched up the relevant information regarding today's live stream of Bai Zhi's concert. Several of these articles were related to Meng Fan, to the point where Meng Cai Wei fully understood what Meng Fan had done at Bai Zhi's concert.

Meng Fan chuckled. "You're done filming, so shouldn't your main focus be on losing weight? You shouldn't be wasting your precious weight loss time here bartering with me!"

Meng Cai Wei laughed coldly. "Of course I have to lose weight, I've already come up with a plan. Boxing is especially great for weight loss, and it won't delay me from beating your ass."

Bai Zhi couldn't help but giggle at the siblings' interactions.

She was so envious!

As an only child, Bai Zhi was very envious of anyone who had a brother or a sister!

When the dinner was almost over, Bai Zhi took off slightly earlier with Meng Fan following close behind. Bai Zhi's hotel was nearby and had wanted to book a room for Meng Fan, but since he wanted to go back, she sent him off with a driver.

Although he had a lot to drink, it wasn't too much of a hassle. Sitting in the back of the car, all he wanted to do was drift off. Seeing this, the driver played some music at a comfortable pace.

Meng Fan listened to the song, and his eyes suddenly burst open. He then asked the driver, "Mr.Driver, what song is this, it sounds familiar."

The driver smiled and responded very sarcastically. "This song is related to our Hangzhou town. The song's title is a place in Hangzhou, In the Sand."

"The sky is raining sand. It's laughing at me..."

Meng Fan listened as You Yong Ming sang the song into a romantic ballad with his raspy, detached voice and suddenly smirked. He really was too dumb!

He didn't know how to be a background singer or a dancer, but he could draw, couldn't he?
