Lvl 999 Character 4 Her name is Alice

My hands were covered in blood from gripping the sword tightly. "Hm? That's really your name?" The despair king asked looking at me carefully. The despair king is starting to get on my nerves, no really. I really want to beat the shit out of the despair king. I used a skill called Call Back. This skill brings back my sword, easy as that. The sword I threw at the despair king a moment ago appeared in my hand like a blue flash. I used my most OP skill All for One, both swords flashed in light before my eyes. I started to laugh like a maniac, one slash of my sword could easily kill a level 800 monster! I teleported in front of the despair king, gripping my swords tightly I attacked with my all. Oh right, the despair king is made of gas, so I can't cut through it easily. The despair king was slashed in pieces and I fell lightly to the floor. A black lined red colored gem fell out, I destroyed it by stomping with my feet, small red rocks can be seen from where I destroyed it. The girl was looking at me with her clothes torned up. I looked through my inventory for clothes and threw it at her, a healing potion too "Drink the potion, it'll heal you" I said. She had white skin that looks like snow, sapphire blue eyes, and a blonde hair like a river streaming. I'd say she's a kid though, I chuckled "Where's your home?"

"I don't have one" She stood there with a sad face looking at her feet while fidgeting.

"Come with me to fight or stay here and die" I didn't know what to do with her so I gave her 2 choices to choose. She held on to my clothes with her small hands. I grinned "Come with me!" We both walked out of the illusionary barrier, I turned around and placed my hand on the barrier "Destroy" The barrier broke like glass and pieces fell to the floor. I forgot where the exit was again, I turned to see a bunch of humans was still there celebrating there victory. Jack came running towards me, looked like he needed air though "Sorai! Where were you!" I told him I defeated the Despair King and came back here. "Hahhh?? No way, no way. Defeating that boss is literally impossible I tell you" He saw that I have a kid with me and it looks like it caught his interest but he seems afraid "W-Wait that's a demi-human, why did you bring it here!" I pointed at her "You mean this girl? I brung it here because I wanted to. Why are you afraid of it?"

"Demi-humans are the world's most hated and feared race. A long time ago, they went on a rampage and destroyed many of our people. This girl you brung with you, shouldn't be allowed to live, leave it here" He was kinda angry looking at the girl. The girl held on to my clothes tightly, hiding looking at Jack. I sighed and patted on the girl's head "Listen, this girl chose to follow me so she's my companion now. Don't talk trash about her, if anyone talks bad about her then it means they're talking bad about me too. She's my life" Jack facepalmed and sighed "What's your name Kid? My name is Jack" She fidgets with her finger unable to speak "Now that reminds me, what's your name?" She looked down fidgeting with her finger "Alice" I smiled and patted her on the head "I see, so your name is Alice!" I looked at Jack "I forgot Where's the exit Jack, where was it again?"

"It's right there" He sighed pointing in the direction where the exit was. I walked to where Jack was pointing to, Alice followed along, holding onto my clothes. A door appeared into view and I opened it.

KRRRRR

A cool breeze blows into the cave, birds chirping, the leaves on the trees rustling. "Let's go!"

After 5 minutes of following a path that was in front of us and through this forest, we have finally arrived at a city. "Who's there!" They point there spears at us and I come out with my hands out "We're just travelers, put your weapons away" They put there spears away "Who're you!"

"I'm Sorai and this here is Alice" We had dirt all over us. "Do you have your identification card?"

"Identification card?" I was confused as to what a identification card was, I thought there wasn't any requirements for you to enter a city! "Well if you don't have one, no worries. You can enter with a temporary one. Come with us for a moment" Alice held on to me tightly as we both followed the guards. If anything happens, I'll have to protect Alice with my life!
