Limerence 14 Is she by herself?

The friends Charlie was talking about were all busy on their own things when they suddenly saw Charlie's messages. They all dropped the things that they were doing and started texting Charlie back.

"Are you sure?"

"Where did you see her?

"Is she back for good?"

"Did Cassie tell you?

Messages keep popping on Charlie's phone. He can't help but smile, this people certainly miss Alex but it's kind of sad, because they didn't part ways wonderfully.

Alex got a fight with the girls while Miguel got mad with the guys because they let Alex and the girls fight with each other. That was the last thing that had happened before the two disappear.

Well, what can they do? It's a girl fight, they shouldn't get involve with it.

He first opened Miguel's message. Miguel texted him 'Is she by herself?' as if he was expecting Alex have someone with her, which is right above all. So, he replied 'She's with Cassie and a girl, I don't know who's the other girl. I didn't get to see her face.'

Miguel didn't text him back, so he proceeded on other messages which are from his other friends.

After reading Charlie's reply to him, his heart beats crazily. The only thing that in his mind was that the twins are back. He can't help but feel excited, it's been a long time since the last time he saw them. Their farewell with each other may not be good, but it's all in the past now. Surely, the twins didn't hold a grudge.

Miguel then arranged a flight back in Quebec. It's a good opportunity to talk things out with the twins. He wanted to apologize for what had happened last year.

He also wanted to properly court Gabby and have a date with her, without her pretending to be someone else. Just her, so she can freely express herself without any restrictions.

While Miguel was thinking about it, he smiled and can't wait any longer.

When the twins entered the house, they can't help but think their childhood days. After all, this is the place where they grew up.

A woman suddenly ran to hug the twins. The girls smiled after seeing the woman who hugged them.

"Nanny Linda!" The two girls shrieked as they hugged the woman. It's their nanny since birth, this woman can be labeled as their second parent already.

Their nanny spent her younger years with them, so their nanny didn't even get the chance to marry someone anymore. She also didn't have the reason to leave both of them, Linda already considered them as her little babies and her family.

"Little Alexs, I miss you both. It's a good thing that you came back."

"We miss you too, Nanny!" The twins both replied.

"Let's go to the kitchen, your mom cooked food for the both of you."

"Are you sure, nanny? Mom's cooking is quite terrible." Gabby said.

"Right! Nanny, why did you let mom step in the kitchen? It will be a disaster." Alex added.

"Alex Gabriella! Alex Louisse!" Their mom shouted their names.

"Do you think I can't hear you both? How dare you say that to your own mother?" Their mother said angrily.

"Hey mom! Don't be angry. We're just saying the truth, right Gabby?" Alex said while raising both her eyebrows. Gabby nodded in response

"Little Alexs, don't say that to your mom. She's been practicing cooking ever since the two of you left home." The two then looked at their mom with guilt. They didn't imagine that their mom will try to practice her culinary skills while they were gone. When they were still here, they can't even call it a skill, it will be an insult to those people who are good in cooking if they considered their mom's cooking ability as a skill.

"We're sorry, mom! We didn't know." Gabby said.

"The first thing that you did since you entered this house was to insult your mother. How could you?" Luisa said pitifully.

"Hey, mom! Don't take it too seriously, we're just joking. We really are sorry." Alex said pleadingly to her mother.

"Right, to compensate for what had happened, we're going to eat all the food you've cooked. Nothing will be gone to waste." Gabby added.

The two then run to their mother to hug and give her a lot of kiss because once they do this, their mom will forgive them. This always work before when they were still kids.

"You two! You really know my weakness. Come and give me a tight hug again." Their mom smiled.

"I really miss you both!" Their mom suddenly tears up. The twins then can't hold back their tears also, so they end up crying as well. In the end, the three of them are crying.

That's the situation that their father had seen when he arrived. He can't help but smiled as he saw them together, the three beautiful and important ladies in his life.
