Chapter 25: New Attributes

Rachel's stubbornness was definitely not what Roger had expected.

Even when Cindy tried to stop her, she was determined to get out of bed.

Both sides even had a stalemate for a while.

The other flying dragons also started surrounding them.

However, they didn't dare come close to Rachel like how Misha did.

At this moment, Rachel realised that some of the dragons, who were also shot in the stomach, were already treated.

“Who treated them?” Rachel asked.

Cindy unwillingly pointed at Roger.

Roger nodded his head and said: “Just trying to help.”

Rachel eyes widened

This was the first time Roger actually saw a facial expression on Rachel's face.

“How is that possible? How did you get them to agree to let you get close to them?”

Rachel was gently stroking Misha's neck and was whispering by her ears.

Then, Rachel patted on Misha's back and looked at Roger.

The flying dragon spreaded her wings and started flapping which stirred up a huge breeze. Then, it brought Roger upwards towards the sky.

His surroundings started getting smaller and smaller as his view became wider.

After a while, Roger soon got used to the feeling spinning in circles in the air.

Misha turned two turns around the banyan tree and then left reluctantly headed south.

“I wish them good luck too.”

As Roger sat on top of Misha, he said a small prayer.

After spending some time here, he has developed feelings for the Dragon Tooth Village.

Therefore, he left a few hemostatic ointment hoping that it would help them through the difficult times.

He found out from Eric that other than the old woman called Angelina, there were no other medical personnel in the village.

If a war breaks out, these ointments would come in handy.

This was the only thing that Roger could do for them.

The sound of the wind continuously blew next to Roger's ear.

Misha slowly lowered the altitude.This was normal as the flying dragons were different from the actual Yalong species.

In order to make up for the lack of endurance, they would usually use more gliding movement while flying.

Since it's already evening, the marshland was slowly covered by heavy fog.

Misha was flying at a very fast speed and soon, they were out of Yellow Stone Island.

Roger was still admiring the scenery of the sunset.

Suddenly, he felt a sense of danger.

A fierce arrow bolted past his ears and shot towards the sky above them. Then, a few seconds later, turned and fell towards the ground.

If it wasn't because of Roger's reflex, this arrow would have been through his head!

Misha ,who was below him, gave out a loud, piercing cry.

She was emotionally unstable as she was pissed and at the same time frightened.

Shush! Shush!

A few more arrows came towards them.

Misha managed to dodge them but she didn't dare to go forward. She remained at the same spot and tried to fly higher up.

“Gray dwarves?”

Roger squinted to see what was happening.

With the help of his Qi Divination Technique, he could clearly see the fellow that was on top of a tree and was shooting arrows at him.

The thing that surprised Roger the most wasn't their attribute but their horrifying looking figure and appearance!

Every gray dwarf that he saw had a fist-like lump either on their neck or their face.

The lump was also giving out a magical, rotten scent.

In comparison to the huge lump, they were so skinny that it looked like they only had bones that were covered by a thin layer of skin. Their protruding eye socket and cheekbones caused them to look like skeletons.

Roger did not see any sense of consciousness in their eyes.

He decided to test it by throwing the mark of evil and it proved that he was right.

This meant that in the hermit ranger model, these gray dwarves are no longer considered intelligent creatures.

They belong to the categories of monsters!

“Misha, good girl. Fly a little lower, don't be afraid.”

Roger gently comforted the flying dragon and slowly took out the Violet Wind Bow.

These dwarves were using a short bow; their shots are strong and quick but they have a very short range of attack.

If it wasn't because the flying dragon couldn't fly any higher, he could have just ignored them.

Roger was preparing to get rid of all the dwarves before moving on as a way of avenging Rachel.
