I Want to Be in a Relationship Chapter 149: A real and hardcore Man (1)

After a brief inquiry of the whole story, Yu Qinghuan called Huo Rong first and told him that he had found Huo Qu, asking him not to worry.

Then, he took Huo Qu to sit in a corner to have some rest first.

During this whole process, Huo Qu always hung his head down and his lips tightly clamped, like a wounded deer. Again his heart was filled with resistance to the whole outside world.

Yu Qinghuan did not rush to comfort him, but opened the heat preservation barrel, took out two spoons from the interlayer, and handed one to Huo Qu, "Come on, eat some soup."

This was actually made by Mrs. Huo? He swallowed a mouthful of saliva and wondered how Huo Qu convinced his mom. When his sights fell on Huo Qu's bloomy face, he immediately threw those topsy-turvy thoughts out of his head.

The most important thing he had to do now was to help Huo Qu reestablish his confidence to communicate with strangers. He took so much pain to get there and he could not retreat.

At the thought of that, Yu Qinghuan measured his words carefully and said, "Huo Qu, there is part of your own problem failing to borrow a phone, you know..."

As soon as he had finished saying this, he saw Huo Qu's expression of "it really was" and immediately went on to say, "However, it was more of other's reason."

Huo Qu looked at him in bewilderment, "Other people's reason?"

Yu Qinghuan nodded, "They refused you, probably because they had to board the plane in a hurry, for fear that they would be too late. Or because their cell phones really ran out of power."

What Qinghuan said seemed quite reasonable. Huo Qu clenched his fingers and thought for a moment before he asked in a low voice, "Then, what was my reason?"

"Ah, you," Yu Qinghuan said with a smile, "Your reason was that you didn't tell them why you wanted to use their cell phone."

Huo Qu's eyes lit up, it seemed he really didn't explain why...

Yu Qinghuan added, "If you don't tell others why you wanted use their phone, of course they would doubt your intention, and even consider you a liar." He patiently explained to Huo Qu, "People are more alert especially in public places like airports. Think about your stolen mobile phone. So people would have higher vigilance."

Was that really the case?

Huo Qu gave Yu Qinghuan a quick glance, holding his hands quietly, as if to draw some strength from him. "Qinghuan, are you telling me the truth?"

"Of course." Yu Qinghuan held his hands back and said softly, "If you don't believe it, we can find someone else to try it again, OK?"

Huo Qu shook his head recalling the discomfort he felt when talking to strangers just now. But when he remembered that this was Qing Huan's request, he abruptly restrained the urge to escape and nodded his head crustily.

"That one." Yu Qinghuan pointed to a young man coming from the escalator and said, "Go ask him."

Huo Qu's eyelashes quivered, and he stood up with hesitation. He slowly took  a few steps forward, and stopped to look back at Yu Qinghuan.

Qinghuan smiled at him and said "go" in whisper.

Huo Qu clenched his fists as if he was going on the battlefield, and walked to that man with stiff movements.

Qinghuan was looking at him from behind. He could not let Qinghuan down. It was just borrowing a phone from a stranger! He could definitely make it.

Even if he was rejected again and again, it didn't matter. Since Qinghuan said it was not all because of him...

Huo Qu swallowed his saliva nervously. In the surprised eyes of that young man, he summoned up all his courage and said his purpose, "Hello, I lost my mobile phone. Can you lend me your mobile phone to make a phone call?"

The man looked him up and down for several times without moving.

Still no, as he expected. Huo Qu's head slowly hung down, he was still unable to make it...

As he took a sniff and was about to walk away, a bright male voice suddenly rang out in his ears, "Okay." Then, a black cell phone was handed to him.

Huo Qu took over the mobile phone the man handed to him, fireworks bursting inside his head, gorgeous and bright.
