If countries such as China and the United States had an economic collapse in times of peace, it would be a disaster of epic proportions that could even trigger World War III. Countries would transfer the pressure of internal conflicts and change it into a war of plunder.

In this era with supernatural powers, World War III occurring would cause the demise of the human race. Anyone knowledgeable would not doubt this fact and would never agree to its occurrence.

The economist was using this as an excuse to take the world hostage to help pay off the problem of the United States.
